You are correct. I definitely made a poor word choice. Your investment is definitely not "protected" but there is less overall risk.

options market is indicating there is still room left to run...but I agree with others here, eventually this thing turns and likely settles in the 400 range.

Gotta think there is some mental aspect for the fanboys to get this to $1000. Shorts may step aside until then and then attack aggressively.

My guess is as good as anyone else's though. Not much technical analysis can be done at this point lol

Disclaimer: I hold long calls right now.

I get it but I am not touching it because when it does sink back to reality eventually that will be a hard one to swallow for many. When that happens just depends on how long Musk can get people to keep propping it up.

Agreed. I haven't touched a thing since everything started hitting 52-week highs several weeks ago. I damn sure wouldn't touch Tesla anywhere near the current price. I'm just shocked at this big of a jump in mere days.

At $746 now. It's terrifying and defies all logic.

This dude on r/wsb has been holding a profit of $1Mil+ in TSLA 1/15/21 calls and continues to hold.

tesla is getting into straight up bubble area now, it's absurd

"analysts" keep pumping the stock up after driving it into the dirt last year

something isn't right, starting to feel like bitcoin

Holy crap. Am I reading that right....he bought in at a little over $46k? Geez......must have been early on. I almost bought when it was $78 a share back in 2014. Kinda wish now I had.

I got roasted on the 1st page for saying $357 was still a great price.

Over 90% of US electric car sales were Tesla's last year, and that was with zero spent on advertising. China is also coming online this year. There is still a ton of up side.

I do plan on selling a few shares tomorrow, I'm hoping there is a dip after the 1st quarter earnings report and plan to pick up more then.

look, i like tesla, i like their technology in their cars, i like electric vehicles.... but i don't see the justification of a $138 billion market cap with only $7.384 billion quarterly revenue

it's a giant hype train

Or brains of mush. We'll only know which it is in a later episode.

The site that he's referencing is known for people who swing for the fences. Sometimes they hit a homerun. But more often than not, they get hit in the head with the bat.

Jaime Rogozinski (WallStreetBets founder) did a really interesting and entertaining Chat With Traders podcast interview awhile back. I think that it was Ep.185 or something like that. Catch it if you can.

They set a record for 1 day share turnover. The figure hit 1/3rd of their market cap.
