That msn article that guy linked there was posted on August 19th. So many errors in that article.....AM general was not a finalist for the contract, VT Hackney dropped out from partnership with workhorse long before the finalist were announced....an article from dec 2019 mentions this...(WKHS paid them for certain intellectual property and engineering assets), and Mahindra dropped out on August 7th.

This guy is just trying to stir the pot.

And like someone else responded to you, the usps would have to reopen the entire process again for something like this to happen, which I think they don't have enough time or money for.

You don’t think WKHS is worth $40 today with $750,000,000 in firm orders PLUS owning 10% of RIDE?

No, it’s not. It’s at $40 right now based on speculation that it’s winning a large part of the USPS contract. This stock ebs and flows based on the USPS news. Plain and simple.

Sure, they’re still a viable and growing company without it, but missing out on a large part of that contract will severely hinder their anticipated trajectory. That contract creates the ability to open a huge credit line and scale up sales and production — right now Hitachi is providing that and likely scalping a huge chunk of revenue.

If anyone is on this board saying anything negative on WKHS they are a idiot. They are jealous or just stupid. I have studied WKHS for more hours than any other stock EVER .

I respect someone comments- but if you are posting total bullshite of a blog site and your research level is that of a 10 year old. I’m going to embarrass you with the depth of my DD. There is ZERO, ZERO about WKHS that deserves a negative uneducated comment.

Correct! Now, does that sound fair to you? The salary of Mary Barra is in excess of $21 million. Not that they should be paid the same, part of Duane’s pay plan is stock options. So months ago Duane filed a SEC FORM 4 to sell the stocks you posted. What happened since then? The contract was delayed. Duane had assumed the USPS AWARD was awarded at this point......too bad.

Could Duane have decided not to sell those shares. Yes, but changes in SEC Form 4 filings cause RED FLAGS with the SEC. Insiders stock sells is a POSITIVE the BEARS take advantage of the unaware and say its a negative.

A business that is growing needs less cash going out on payroll. So, Duane was hired at a low salary plus stocks. The CEO of ZOM was hired the same way. Small salary plus 2 Million shares of ZOM. Hope that helps.

Saying WKHS’s anticipated growth trajectory right now is heavily dependent on that USPS contract isn’t negativity, it’s reality.

I’ve been buying WKHS since $5 and I’m still holding. GL

For the record I was never opposed to WKHS and have been putting every leftover dollar into it. I just knew the other poster wouldn't answer your question so I posted it for him.

More research suggests he may still hold as many as 345k+ shares and is holding those to cash in once WKHS is worth what he knows it can potentially be.

Robert Cohen has already shown what he is capable of taking medical device companies public with Sulzermedica. I am on board 100% with ZOM and WKHS. The more reading I do, the more convinced I become.

TSNP/FORW ZOM WKHS

Lots of rumors this weekend of GM somehow getting into the contract running. Complete BS in my opinion, but I’m sure people spread them to get a nice buying dip

Looks like that's driving the dip today... GM announced this morning that they are launching a new EV line, seen as major competition to WKHS.

quote:

What's up with electric-van start-up Workhorse Group (NASDAQ: WKHS) now that General Motors (NYSE:GM) has launched a whole new electric commercial-vehicle brand, called BrightStop, to compete in the same space?

Thoughts on Workhorse are, they have to be looking at GM's new announcement this morning, and becoming concerned. Okay back up, Workhorse is a small electric vehicle company in Ohio. They make, for the most part, electric commercial vans. They've been hoping to sell some to companies like UPS (NYSE:UPS), who they worked with a bit to develop their current model, which was certified for US sale over last summer, and they've been making them [in small numbers since].

They don't have the capacity to make tons and tons of vehicles, but they are ramping up to try. But I think it's really hard for a company like Workhorse to make a case that it's going to be a major player in a market that is dominated by Ford (NYSE:F) and GM. [A market] that Ford and GM are spending billions of dollars to continue to dominate amid the transition to electric vehicles. In fact, I wrote up the GM news this morning, and one of the last things I said was, "This is a big wake up call for Workhorse investors, or it should be." The company may still be able to carve out a niche, but they've got to be worried that Ford and GM have now both shown credible products that are coming to eat their lunch.

Now they are pushing Ford as the winner.... I still believe in WKHS, just wish they would announce the contract already.

If wkhs loses the contract are they still a hold? Or was most of the idea of having them long term based on them getting it?
