Once it dropped below $200, I finally am dipping my toes in TSLA. I only bought a few shares but I figure it will get back to at least $250 before too long (2 years). If it does, that is an easy 25% gain.

A Morgan Stanley analyst this morning on CNBC said he could see TSLA dropping to $10/share.

He later clarified what he said saying he meant that price to be his "worst case scenario" for Tesla.

For a lot of people it is not about the company. It is more about Musk.

The product is great but the company makes no money and is burning through quite a lot of money and is currently trying to raise $2b. Not sure if its still the case, but $TSLA was the shortest stock on wallstreet

Tesla Biggest Short on Wallstreet (April 2018)

“Tesla, which was overtaken by Apple as the largest U.S. equity short recently, is back on top of the league tables, a position it has held since March 2016,”

lol. How much longer is Musk able to hold on? The board will have to do something at some point of this thing is over.

What’s the problem here? Sales just suck?

I’d have to think twice if we see $180 again.

I bought in a few weeks ago when it dipped below $200. Although the numbers aren’t ideal today, I should still be up ~10% in under 3 months. I think for at least the time being, the stock will float around the $250 mark.

You were hoping for 25% within two years. Why didn't you sell immediately at $250??

I don’t want to sell it at 25%. I think it will get to at least $275 (37.5%) before the year ends

Pigs get slaughtered, take the money and run.....

Tesla is going nowhere.

Full Disclosure: I’m short at 315.

The 10Q will be interesting, but the problem is they delivered a record number of cars, but their margins are terrible. They’re selling less S & X, which have high ASPs. They keep discounting model 3s to move them.

They’ve got some serious capital structure issues to work through where they have no room for error.

I’m definitely short with them and could have very easily taken the money at a 25% gain, had I had more in it I probably would have, but I want to hold a little longer. If I can get a near 40% return in a year (presuming I hold it for 9 more months), that’s a return I’d be more than ok with.

Elon is all in on FSD and it’s not going to come soon enough to save him.

His CTO just left after half his autopilot team left because his deadlines are unrealistic. Also his design guy just left for Apple.

Yea I’ve followed Tesla for a while and watched as people come and go. I’ve said for years that Elon needs to hire a real CEO to run the company while he does what he does best in the R&D arena
