Want to start buying stocks
Have a 401k through work so that is taken care of
What site is the best and do y'all use the app?

How do y'all keep track of all the stocks and when to buy and sell

depends on what you mean by track. but if you're going to invest in a lot of stocks, just by a fund and not a bunch of individual stocks.

when to buy doesn't really matter if you believe in the stock long term. if trading, then I just use RSI and VWAP mainly

Buy low sell high lol. I use Robin hood, which people seem to shite on, but it's made me money so I cant complain.

The market is absolutely shite right now, so I'd buy into covid safe stocks...xspa is a good one. Merk, moderna. Just do market research.

Also, play to your strengths. I'm in the medical field with an expertise in psychopharmacology. If I have a feeling a certain drug will do well and they are about to release, let's say, phase 2 drug trial data, then I will buy low as I can before they release this data and wait for them to release results. Or If a drug is applying for FDA approval.. These stocks will shoot up after positive news and media exposure, then I sell for an nice profit.

Just my .02 . Hope you do well man. Nows the time to buy though before the rebound

As a newbie I'd recomend start with an index ETF. They trade like stocks but you get diversification across hundreds of companies instead of just one per stock. VTI Total Market or VOO S&P 500 for example both are Vanguard ETFs with very low expense ratios you can buy through any low cost brockerage. I'd max a Roth before opening a taxable brokerage account unless you plan to spend the growth before retirement.

Better off putting what you can in a mutual fund (401K) and letting it ride for 20+ years if possible.

Day trading is bad on your bottom line, especially if you don't have knowledge.

Spyg or something broad reinvest it. I dunno anything about Robinhood but seems they push compliance boundaries. Personally I like TD Ameritrade. But to each is own
