I live this board, but...

I need to start going with my gut and not waiting to pull the trigger
I asked about AA, Boeing and Oil last week and got slammed not to buy and now all are up big time
I could have gotten Boeing at $93 a week ago and it’s at $156 this morning. I really wanted Royal Carribean at $22 and now it’s at $40

Just wait a little longer. They will go back down

Timing the market is a losers game.

You are correct. You have to remind yourself that 99% of the posters here are as ignorant as you and I are, but they like to think they know more than us and we incorrectly over value their opinion.
My example is that I had 1150 shares of Delta last week at 22. Sold them on news I read here that slashing forecasts and upcoming poor earnings reports would bring their stock to the $11-$12 range. Now it is bumping $30. Live and learn I guess.

Well maybe don’t let random dudes on the internet influence your decision?

I bought DAL and BA last week and posted so.

If you're basing your investments on what you read on this board, well that's a problem in and of itself.
As far as the stocks you chose not to buy. There's a lot of assumptions being made by you:
1. That you indeed would've bought at the right time without reading any outside noise
2. That you will sell at the right time if you owned those stocks
3. That we've seen the bottom already
Hindsight is always 20/20.

I put some money in some individual stocks towards the end of last week and I'm up big so far.
IMO, a lot of the future things people are talking about (ex: unemployment numbers) are already priced in. I've been keeping up with the virus and spread in the US and it doesn't seem to be as bad as was promoted.
That said, the market could tank today, but I'm feeling ok as I already got the stocks at a huge discount compared to where they were the past year or two or three.

I bought some yesterday
But there will be many more opportunities to buy, stocks like Walmart will fall tremendously before this is all over

Stimulus is old news, next focus will be unemployment and it won't be good.

Man, earnings reports the next few quarters will be brutal. There will be buying opportunities.

Secondly, that's why you buy little by little on the way down.
You could think things will be going down, it could it could not.
If things did get worse, you'll still have people saying we haven't reached bottom yet. No one will know where that is until later.
