With the news of GM ending the Camaro production and majority of manufacturers pledging to be all electric in coming years what are some ways to “get ahead of the curve” to profit when this happens? All I can think of is charging stations? Not sure how one would even get started in that tho.

I have read that EV takes 40% less labor to build than an internal combustion engine car. So I would keep it simple and buy Ford (F).

Like gas stations, charging stations will eventually make money selling candy, soda, and cigarettes

Snickers needs to update their "Not going anywhere for awhile?" ads with one showing an EV owner waiting for the car to charge.

Yep, eventually all car manufacturers are gonna incorporate it into their vehicles. Buy F and others now.

Easy Gauch, he probably wouldn't buy in where you did.

For me it's up down and sideways. By that I mean up 300% and down 300%

I need to do some research on which companies are most likely to be able to build these things profitably. I looked at the Porsche ADRs last year (POAHY) - glad I didn’t bite though. I’m (sadly) already in Lucid (LCID). The space is going to get crowded, but right now, I can’t see a clear winner (apart from TSLA). Strangely enough, both Toyota and Honda seem to be behind on pure EVs right now… and that surprises me. With their head start development work in Le Mans and/or F1 electrification, you’d think they’d be way ahead.

Seems like it would be common sense to drop a few vending machines next to a charging station. Would probably make a killing

EVs will be a huge bust unless a miracle happens in battery technology and power generation. There isn’t enough of the needed materials to make enough cars with batteries for everyone and the range is awful with long charge times. This will remain a niche market. Some other fuel source may emerge but it won’t be EVs.
