thoughts?

I just pulled some profit out. It's really high right now. Looking for a pull back so I can invest more. We might see it north of $165 before the end of the year.

In what timeframe?

Yeah, I have been selling calls on it all the way up. I'm looking for a pull back too and as a substitute I am selling calls on a NVDA backed etf.

What is the catalyst for this $1.2 trillion gain in three months? I have been more bullish on NVDA than anyone on MT, but even I do not see a catalyst for another trillion dollars in three months

When I say I see 200 I mean the projections I have seen has it around 200 so makes me think that too. They are fixing their supply issues and will have a huge end of the year in profits. A lot of selling of the stocks by company employees trying to sell a fraction of their holding but is significant is almost over as well

Oh I think we are going to have a pull back. That doesn't mean it won't reach 200 by Jan. They have a report due on Nov 20th.

They would have to crush earnings on Nov 20th.

I'm not sure, but I heard about some neat tech that is coming SOON.
It's called Ambient Listening for physicians. When you sit down with your physician the computer in the room will be listening to the entire conversation. By the time you get back to the front desk cloud AI will have a complete set of notes for the visit ready for review. A quick once over and an edit here or there and the notes are done. A pop-up suggest any reasonable tests based on the information discussed. One click and those prescriptions are uploaded to the pharmacy.
This is one of the first DIRECT moneymakers I see for AI. Physicians and assistants will love it. Hospitals will pay for it. (You won't have a choice)
What I'm not exactly sure of is who the intermediaries are going to be. Who will own/house the Nvidia boards. Will there be a race for which company 'trains' their bots the best?

My wife had a meeting with hospitals the other day and they were discussing AI. She said that one of the facilities mentioned using Ambient Listening for their physicians. Really awesome concept and allows for the provider to go back and make sure they mention certain aspects of care or asked certain questions.

They’re not going to be a $25 Trillion company in the next 5 years.
You’re just throwing out numbers with no actual comprehension of what they mean or what it would take to get there.
That’s half of the value of the entire US stock market today.
$1000 per share is an objectively stupid thing to even suggest.

It all depends on the ROI that companies see on their AI spending.
Only time will tell on that, as it will take a while for companies to make such an assessment.
Short Term, I wouldn't be surprised if it pulls back some in the first quarter of 2025 because I imagine that there are people sitting on huge 2024 NVDA gains that are waiting for the calendar to flip to 2025 to delay taxes on their gains another year.
I also think that some of this late year run up is from EOY Fund Manager Window dressing so they can show that they own NVDA.
Long Term it all depends on ROI,
If companies see a huge ROI on their AI Spending, and competition is lagging, then the sky is the limit.
If AI ROI disappoints, then look out below, but that will take a while for that to happen because it will take a while to assess AI ROI
