Appears to also be 100% emotional for people not invested in AMC.

Truer words, never spoken.

Extremely negative, they have more than 4x the shares outstanding. They issues shares to keep the lights on. So anyone holding a share today is literally worth 1/4 of what a share was worth before this year.

To get the same earnings per share AMC would need to quadruple earnings from pre-covid numbers. I am guessing that is probably impossible in their current business as there is a finite amount of seats. What is more realistic is that earnings will be much lower since they have probably closed and failed to maintain many locations during the covid shutdowns.
Ok, I'll bite. If your reasoning is correct, then why are we seeing tons of institutions creating new positions and some, doubling their stake? And please, don't give me the BS about their computer algos forcing them to do it.

I'm certainly not the most sophisticated trader, but I have enough sense to follow the guys who are.

Someone on the political forum, started a thread saying it might be worth you while to pick up a couple of shares of GME this morning after it took a nose dive to $182. He got blasted.

It's at $220 right now.

25% ROI in a matter of a couple of hours.

Haters gonna hate.

Hoping this is a consolidation point prior to a run up.

Stock has traded with 10 cents one way or other since 11am with inflow > outflow. Makes you wonder...

It’s not BS. You’re highlighting index fund buying and trying to argue it means Blackrock must like AMC.

Was today the Friday we've been promised where the squeeze happened and AMC shot to $900?

As someone who has about $600 in calls that expire next week, I was expecting the moon to feel a little different

Massive dump at the bell to make sure those $14 calls didn't wind up in the money. When utilization is right at 100%, whoever is holding naked shorts, had 100% butthole pucker factor.

Right. Algos are written to buy stocks that they think are going down. Last time I checked, fund managers like to show as high of a ROI as possible. I guess the Vanguard fund that just increased their stake by 10X on Wednesday, really thinks AMC is going to tank.

Holy shite you can’t be serious.

A) it was a Fidelity fund.

B) it was a Fidelity index fund. The fund makes passive allocations based on an index. They buy and sell stocks automatically.

C) it was disclosed Wednesday but was as of 1/31/21.

I knew $900 didn’t have a shot but I was hoping for maybe like $50 or at worst $20. Might sell my shares next week, turn a small profit and move on
