Going down to one card to better track spending - which is best for customer service?

I have a Chase Freedom, Discover, and Quick Silver that I use depending on points category that quarter.

However trying to crack down on the budget and better track our spending so wanting to go to one card. What company is the best in your experience with customer service. I know I have disputed charges before and never had issues but I can't recall which card it was with. However I feel like a lot of horror stories with Chase when it comes to this.

The alternative would be just to link them all to a budget app like YNAB. Is an app like YNAB worth the spend?

Tia

I had an Amex Platinum when I travelled for work. They were phenomenal. Went to Chase Sapphire Reserve afterwards and they were 100% opposite. Went back to Amex. Sorry, don’t have experience with your others.

I’ve had good service from Chase w/ the Reserve and similar w/ Amex platinum. I’m don’t frequently need much customer service though; both overnight replacement cards when needed.

Amex has made me a customer for life because of their customer service.

I don’t need much customer service, but I’ve always had good luck with Discover.

I have both the Chase Freedom and Discover. One thing I found out is that Chase Freedom will charge you international fees if you use it outside the US (booked a flight from London back to the US with it). I haven't tested it yet, but Discover claims they have no international transaction fees. I'll find out in February.

Yeah this is where I am as well.

Have had my card hacked twice in the 9 years I’ve been with discover. One simple call and they canceled those pending fraudulent transactions and overnighted me a new card .

Couldn’t be happier and it’s a free card to have.

I hear good things about Fidelity Rewards. Automatic 2% cash back deposited to your Fidelity brokerage acct each month.

There’s still plenty of businesses that won’t take Discover, so you won’t be able to go to single card with that one

Somehow still relevant and funny, nearly 20 years later

AMEX is great but you have to carry a backup Visa pretty much because it's not universally accepted. Costco is one example.

I use the Amazon Prime Visa for 5% back on Amazon purchases.

Then Wells Fargo Visa with 2% back on all purchases for all other purchases.

I wouldn't cancel the other cards if they have been open a long time. Just don't use them.
