They’re a private broker. I hate the decision, but they have that right. I will be moving my money elsewhere as a result, bc I have that right. I hope others will as well

Where would you move to? What is better, WeBull or Robinhood? Thinking about opening one of these, more specifically the Webull to get the 4 free stocks.

Trading securities that are not marginable can be a real PITA

They know AMC is next. That is bullshite. I should have bought in last night and sold off this morning for a profit.

Both are garbage platforms. Webull is one step worse than Robinhood. Both abuse retail traders to make their money, and neither has a predictable server platform. I want something larger like TDA, going to have to research. Maybe ETrade. Others feel free to weigh in if you have a platform you like

I've been happy with etrade although the site did get a little slow at one point this morning and the customer service phone wait has gotten longer but that's happened everywhere since covid.

Otherwise they are great and provide the benefits you get with an old-school broker plus there are no extra fees for buying OTC foreign stocks. I've moved stocks to them in the past and they did all the work.

I'm with you but buying RH just enriches the funds that are involved with the frickery. They're called systematic internalizers and they take your orders before they hit the exchanges.

I'm on etrade and generally happy with it. The ticker updates are slower than CNBC and other places, and there were some problems logging in the last 2 mornings at the opening bell. Whether that's a coordinated thing by these brokerage houses, as some have suggested, or just an unprecedented amount of volume that froze them up for while, I don't know.

I have ETrade but don't like their interface as well as TDA, plus it kept crashing this morning at open.

Thoughts on Fidelity?

Nasdaq’s CEO says they would potentially halt stock trading in cases of “significant increases in the chatter on social media channels.” This comes amid the ongoing GameStop stock phenomenon.
