We need to draft a letter to Mintak. He does respond to emails.

Yeah I’m honestly running out of capital to invest. I’m at 12k shares now and I’m in the red. There’s plenty of stocks in my portfolio I could’ve put that money in instead and have made money on.
I’m very long in STLHF, more than any other stock I own even, but it’s time to get the show on the road before I start thinking my timing was a mistake.

You aren’t very long if you have this little patience.
Go buy Some WSB stocks if you want volatility

I sent him an email yesterday stating that if the JV has been delayed past Q2 it would be better to just come out and say that than to have complete silence on the issue, otherwise folks might start thinking the JV isn’t going to happen. Looks like the Germans may make us wait till July 1st or later.....

In his most recent interview with a Wealth Management firm I saw on YouTube (I think it may have been 2-3 months old), he indicated late June/early July as the anticipated timing of the JV.

You referring to the Crux investor video with Andy Robinson?
Posted on 6/12/21 at 3:45 pm to GeneralLee
No, I saw that one too. The other one I saw (having trouble finding right now) was with the owner of some wealth management firm.

I wonder if these delays are making them as nervous as it is me, as other technologies race to catch up.
Aluminum-Ion Batteries Charge 60x Faster than Lithium-Ion Batteries
Obviously there are challenges yet some reality in the technology as they name 4 big universities working on it. With one supposed to hit the market late 2021, early 2022.
FWIW, there's a thread on the OT that deserves credit.

I’m getting tired of waiting but to sell I’d have to chase bid so hard
These dudes not even trying to get things moving makes me super uncomfortable

Why didn't you sell the last 10 times you said you were selling? This is the lowest it's been since you said you were selling.

Standard Lithium Announces the Early Conversion of Loan Facility With LANXESS Corporation
We got some news!
Lanxess is now a key shareholder in STLHF. What does this mean for us?

Must mean JV and FID on the plants about to happen. Otherwise why would they want to acquire shares of a company that would be worthless (in scenario where JV doesn’t happen).

Could someone translate that article into a fourth grade layman's terms?

I think it’s telling you that this is the last chance to buy low $3 stock, if you want it. Things are about to start moving.
Posted on 6/14/21 at 7:41 am to GeneralLee
Honestly? So that they can start to sell them. They’ve already made the investment with the initial loan. They’re getting the shares at $1.20; they want to sell them.
I’m not sure this is “good news”.

Lanxess gave Standard a loan. There were several avenues by which Lanxess were allowed to recoup that loan. They have selected early payoff via issuance of shares. Standard is giving Lanxess shares to pay off the debt, and giving Lanxess warrants at a price of $1.20/share.
The article states that it makes Lanxess a major stakeholder but because it is common shares, I don’t think anything restricts them from turning around selling those shares immediately.
Somebody please correct me if I’m wrong, I haven’t seen the details of the original loan and am not sure if there are any special terms in play here.

Seems it could go either way, but am I reading this correctly, that they gave up all those shares just to pay off $3.75 million?

I’m waiting until Friday to buy in. I hope it stays below $3 until then.
