A big day will certainly get more eyes on it. This should help bring in the big boys.

I’d hope it would go up more than that when SLI is awarded cash potentially in an amount greater than the market cap of the company.

Yeah, very underwhelming short-term response by the market.

As usual, SLI releases awesome news on a day when the overall lithium market decides to shite itself.
Hopefully it stabilizes soon and starts to run on the news. This is massive.

without doing a lot of digging, is this money in line with what others are getting from DEO?

Illl give a couple days, but I will dump this turd with the quickness from now on.

If the assumption is that the 225million is direct federal funding (i.e. not a combo number of direct funding + sli/equinox matching funds) then it would be 2nd highest overall doe grant thus far and the highest in terms of similar competition.
DOE
This assuming I'm looking at the correct award lost.

Correct. This was the battery materials processing grant from the DOE.

My plan is to ride it out, and am wanting 3$ by EOY so i can have some lending income all through development.

DOE
This link calls it a $225M federal cost share. That sounds to me like the federal government is putting up a total of up to $225M, covering a share of the total cost of the project.

Good luck. My suggestion is to put a stop loss on it now, somewhere near it's current price.
Add - This is the best possible news they could get right now, but even then it's only up 7 to 8%. when the overall market is flat. red flags

Flipped 20K shares 3 times today between $1.34-$1.38. Would've thought the grant would be bigger news and had a bigger impact on price, but guess not.

Lithium market is down like 5% but yeh, still a very subdued response. Very odd. I was expecting 20% easy today and wouldn’t have been shocked to creep up on $2.
$230 million into a company with a $250 million MC and it moves 9%….thats not right.
One of the largest private companies in the world bought in. One of the largest energy companies in the world bought in. The US government bought in. Their combined investment is currently over half a billion. Yet here we sit at a $250M market cap.
Not sure it makes sense. Gotta think we start gaining next week.

The Equinor partnership announcement was similar, hardly moved that day. Then through 3 more trading days it went from $1.33 to $1.87. Nothing happened since so it slid back down because it's just a boring stock. So boring that we've had 300k volume days recently. Seriously, everyone on the planet knows they can wait 2-3 years to buy when first production is on the horizon so there isn't an ounce of FOMO to be found here.
Eta the Equinor announcement was more confusing so I'd be surprised if this one doesn't get a better reception over the next few days.

That's one of my red flags, the market has a high chance of not being as tight as it was 3 years ago when some of us got in
Technology is advancing and more lithium is coming to market

I see where Smack bought 2.6 million shares at 12:22

I dunno if I’m lucky or dumb.
I exited yesterday completely when they delayed the royalty agreement with plans to just tax loss this and get back in 30 days from now. Only to jump back in when it was only up 5%.
FML and YOLO

Have to say. I'm a little disappointed in today's bump. I thought we'd hit $2, but lithium market down and overall down day for market. I think a lot of people are waiting on the royalties to be set and a more definitive start date for production. This should light a fire under the commissions arse to get it right. This is $225 million for south Arkansas from the fed gov. Time to look at the big picture and quit stepping on our own dicks down here.
