decided today that im dumping it all on a fresh press release
Posted on 4/21/23 at 6:35 pm to Wraytex
I wish my fear of losing it all was a s strong as my fear of missing out. I just keep thinking I’ve held this long I would not be able to live with myself if I sell now and it finally makes a run.

If it goes above 6 or 7, I'm out with you.
The way they move, there will be plenty of time to get back in.

I think there will be plenty of time to get back in. Construction is really exciting from an engineering standpoint but I’m not sure it is to investors.

My take is that construction starting is a signal to the investing community that this thing is legit. Right now, there are still many questions on whether or not this will ever get off the ground.

Yeah I agree with that. I mean that the long process of construction isn’t exciting and that there would be plenty of places to buy back in

Lots of big words, big plans and big promises, but so little actual proof of concept since over two years ago. I'm in to this up to my neck, but Mintak's history makes me very nervous.

I admit that it looks bad when Elon is begging for miners to step up production: LINK
If SLI was all as advertised, I'd think he would be in active discussions on a buyout. Hope the upcoming PR proves this fear unwarranted.

General Motors and Hyundai on Tuesday announced new investments in U.S. battery manufacturing plants totaling $8 billion.
The new facilities will help the automakers meet local sourcing requirements required to qualify for federal electric vehicle tax credits.
GM is partnering with Samsung SDI on a $3 billion plant that is set to open in 2026 at a yet-to-be-disclosed location.

We just need a concrete proof or DFS and FEED sometime soon.
Words lose their power over time.

the current $3.43 stock price shares your sentiment.
For all of the promise, there is zero communication from SLI and its very concerning. We are lucky to get a monthly alert to a presentation that theyre doing somewhere. Those are sales pitches. Not progress reports. They give zero progress reports. Why cant they report anything?

They are ripe for another short attack prior to dfs/feed. I regret my 3.90ish buy in.

Yep. We need progress reports and test results to get this turtle moving. Otherwise,

From Tetra Q1 2023 Earnings Call Q&A:
We believe that our investments in Standard Lithium or investments in CSI Compressco today do not reflect the value that is attainable for those companies.
Interesting...
I have more interest in Tetra now too, after reading the transcript of their earnings call.

So, are they saying the value they believe is attainable is higher or lower than the value of their investments?

Attained value is positive.

Work is going hard and heavy. I have been told lithium extraction royalties are now showing up on landowners checks. Tesla has been on site numerous times recently (doesn't mean anything except they are aware and keeping an eye on progress)
Word is gov't officials have been on site recently. Presumption is that it's related to gov't money for development of strategic resource.
Those that are more in the know aren't talking but seem awfully confident and excited. Take it for what it's worth.
