Patent allowance certainly welcome news. Nothing that will change the value potential but certainly another risk factor checked off.

Hoping the lithium market, along with SLI, starts to recover in the 1st quarter. Still planning on buying more at these levels soon.

When was the last time you talked to Mintak?

Been a while.

They have gone totally radio silent and I really don't have many curiosities about the goings-ons right now. I'd be interested to find out about progress on the SW Ark site activities, but that's about it. Would also be curious to know if they are still pursuing a grant, but I'm not sure if they'd comment on that.

If folks here have some questions, I'd be happy to put together an inquiry and get in touch with Mintak to discuss.

If you do get in touch with him my questions would be the following:

1. What is the current status of efforts to obtain US federal government grant funding?

2. If the results of the DFS/FEED are positive, how do you anticipate financing construction of the first commercial plant?

$2.85 pre-market. Expect lots of tax loss harvesting today.

Worked on several patent cases over the last few decades. Patent licensing agreements and violation judgements can be very lucrative.

Worked for one lawyer who just didn't lose cases.

So I was going to buy more yesterday. I wasnt paying attention and sold the amount I wanted to buy.

But it worked out, because I sold it and just bought it back cheaper.

Below $3 again. Patents are extremely powerful tools to protect intellectual property.

$2.89. I'd be loading up, but I've already got a lot riding on this bet.

I'm in ORGN since you mentioned it back in 2021. I like the company but I have been concerned with the volume of insider sales over the past few months. Not just end of year tax loss harvesting, there has been a lot of insider selling since August of 2022. Thoughts?

If you look at the S-4's, the vast majority of the sales have been only for shares necessary to liquidate to satisfy tax obligations from vesting of options. The management team there is not independently wealthy, so I'm not too concerned to see them sell shares to satisfy tax obligations on granted shares.

On the other hand, if someone like Boon Sim or Charles Drucker sold shares for $4.60 when they bought them for $10, that would be extremely concerning and cause me to exit my position.

The management team has a ~25M share earnout that would vest if ORGN trades above $15/share for a certain period of time before June '24 (and $20 by June '25 and $25 by June '26). Clock is ticking for them to more than triple the stock price to hit that earnout, hoping we start to get upward movement soon as the O1 plant goes online.

The latest short yak on Seeking Alpha isn't worth much, but the comments section is a good reading mix of ignorance vs. facts. They primarily don't trust Mintak.

Lets see $SLI actually produce meaningful amounts of Lithium instead of just talking about it and then it may be investible. At present the company mainly seems to exist for the purpose of lining Mintak's pockets.

I think it would have helped a lot if the demo plant was doing longer term test runs to provide concrete proofs even if the lithium was just stock piled in silos.

caller asked Cramer on MM today about SLI and he said, paraphrasing, " if I wanted a stock that is going to zero, this is your play"....so maybe there is hope
