I believe they have finalized the purchase of the land for the plant from Lanxess. It's a start.

Schlumberger announced it has entered into a partnership with Gradiant, a global water solutions provider, to introduce a key sustainable technology into the production process for battery-grade lithium compounds. As part of Schlumberger’s NeoLith Energy direct lithium extraction (DLE) and production flowsheet, Gradiant technology is used to concentrate the lithium solution and generate fresh water—a critical element in sustainable lithium production from brine

quote:

Gradiant’s new solution enhances the impact of the sustainable lithium extraction process—reduced time-to-market and environmental footprint. The technology enables high levels of lithium concentration in a fraction of the time required by conventional methods, while also reducing carbon emissions, energy consumption, and capital costs when compared to thermal-based technologies. This technology integration can be applied into new lithium mineral extraction and production sites, opening opportunities to untapped lithium production regions, as well as existing lithium production operations.

The big boys are getting in the DLE game.

Yep, I can't get this image of Mintak with a fiddle out of my head. Would like to see some caterpillars on the ground...something tangible.

No matter how slow SLI has plodded away their strategic lead advantage, they still have the source brine.

This scene frustrated me so bad watching this damn movie.

I was actually mad, it ruined my mood. If I was next to the director I would have punched him in the dick. The joke was done 60 seconds ago. Stop.

And clearly still bothers me to this day.

Yup. Just nothing to support this in the short term. You’ve got a pre revenue stock with no news expected for another 2 months minimum this is gonna happen.

Curious just how low it’ll go. I really can’t fathom much less than 3.50-3.80 with their cash position. But I also thought $7 was the floor after the Koch investment.

Picked up 1000 more today at $3.80

"The stock market remains open on the Columbus Day federal holiday on Monday, October 10.

The bond market is closed as banks are also closed.

Stock trading on Columbus Day, now observed in some states and localities as Indigenous Peoples' Day, can be more volatile, with lower volume due to the bond market holiday and more people taking a three-day weekend."
