easy come easy go. Buy and hold is dead in this market. Swing trade and collect a quick 1-3% and keep yourself at >80% cash at all times (until 2023 at least).

I briefly was happy about Sli that’s when I should’ve sold

The stock market shouldn’t make you happy it’s supposed to make you miserable just like life in Biden’s America

Be more volatile SLI. Yeesh.

Not sure it’s actually gonna break out til news, but these dang 10-20% swings without news tells me it’s juiced and ready to make a move once news drops.

Sweet locations for SLI.

US Energy Dept. set to announce $2.5B loan to GM, LG Energy for battery production- Reuters

quote:

The U.S. Energy Department is planning to announce a $2.5B loan to the joint venture between General Motors (NYSE:GM) and South Korean battery storage company LG Energy Solution, Ultium Cells, to finance the construction of new battery plants, according to Reuters.

Per the report, the conditional loan will be committed to assist the joint venture in building new facilities in Ohio, Tennessee, and Michigan under the auspices of the Advanced Technology Vehicles Manufacturing loan program. The same program had previously offered sizable loans to GM competitors like Ford (F) and Tesla (TSLA). However, the new loan to Ultium will mark the first loan offered specifically for battery cell manufacturing.

Livent and GM reached a LiOH supply agreement. Announced today. Might lift the sector a bit maybe.

LTHM won’t start supplying them hydroxide til 2025 though. That is comparable to the SW Ark timeline if it finds funding. Wonder how hard Mintak is shopping out that potential lithium.

Been a while since I've had a really good SLI dream.

Still hoping to open my laptop one morning and read something crazy and enjoy the run. No need to even type my fantasy, it's all been thought and written in this thread.

Hang tough guys!

Poor LTHM investors. Get great news on a supply agreement with freaking GM, released on a terrible lithium market day.

From SLI's last July 13 press release there is a mention of "DFS/FEED Study Award." It doesn't define the meaning of these, but I'm told they are equivalent to the next extended proof of concept in preparation for commercialization.

The PR people should make the meaning of DFS and Feed clear in detail.

Musk talks about lithium refining

Don't know if anyone else say this from a couple days ago, but figured I'd share in case anyone else wanted to read.

We should all be ashamed for counting on Joe Biden to save us.

I’m only in this one because they appeared to have unlocked the secret to DLE, which was a myth not long ago... Apparently, nobody really cares about clean energy though.

When the DFS and then FEED Study Award comes in we should see catalyst and extended proof of concept that non-sciency analysts can understand. That should make this lottery ticket worth something if they don't bury the real nuggets where mere dollar and cents stock analysts find it hard to understand.
