Down to single digit posts daily on this thread. I feel most here believe in the company as I do, but not a whole lot to get excited about short term. Waiting for a great pr release…I hate the dips below $6.

I've been rebuilding my position on those.

It's kind of unusual for them to go so long on a significant PR event. I don't consider the office opening a significant PR event.

I sold at 9 but bought back in at 7.

This is close to what I'm about to do. Have a few straggling share lots that are in the $9 range. Goin to swing them out and attempt to swing them back in at a low $6 range to pick up additional shares.

The article mentions 1 billion in cap ex upcoming and stock dilution or increased debt is likely. I was under the impression sli wouldn’t need a ton of cap ex and dilution unlikely.

Was I mistaken?

1 billion for two commercial production plants? I could be wrong, but that seems a little high. Where did SLI say that? My plant just wrapped up a new unit for less than 100mil.

Yeah, the market was deep red and SLI is down just tiny bit.

Apparently this thing is going to be fricking enormous. That tells me they plan on it handling more volume than originally projected. The one in the south plant where the demo unit is. 3 operators now.

I mean if they tried to raise money by stock dilution in this environment doesn’t this stock really tank. I get that it just means more potential but potential in this environment is deadly. But on the other hand you get the plants built and running more quickly and get this project going.

Not sure what this means

First off, they’ve already raised $100 million. This goes directly towards building a plant. Stock ran when they made that sale/issued those shares.

Second, the short term capex we are still looking to be split via JV with Lanxess. SLI has enough for phase 1 without raising any more, assuming Lanxess runs with them.

Third, no the stock wouldn’t tank. If they had to raise more money, it’s because they have gotten total buyin on the plant and are in go mode. The stock price, for this reason, would already be much higher. If they diluted 10% when the stock was at $20 they’d have enough to finish the Lanxess project.

Dilution is scary in microcaps and startups…and cruise lines. SLI is past that point.
