Amplify Investments (136,000 shares) and VanEck Investments (34,000 shares) updated their holding yesterday.

How often is yahoo’s holders tab updated?

No idea about yahoo updates. I checked ownership info on bloomberg.

Amplify is up 6,600 shares. VanEck is unchanged.

So the cat is out of the bag and the starting gate has opened at the race track.
Does SLI have any IP protection on this? Are key figures in SLI guns for hire?

I'd like to discuss something that seems to be the biggest negative brought up by Hindenburg.
The history of failed companies Mintak has been involved in and the fact his last one, Pure Energy, is very similar to Standard.
This article and the continued slow walk of any JV has my long term confidence the weakest it's been to date...
Can someone here poke holes in that claim? talk me off the cliff?
I want to believe the Koch investment of $100M is a huge reason to be optimistic, but their other recent investments of similar value and their selling of a ranch for $200M tells me they have excess capital and willing to take a high risk. It's even possible they may not have done extensive research, and not overly concerned
with loosing some money in the process for write off purposes.
Anyone have similar concerns?
Hindenburg article 100% B.S.?

Dang nice I was gonna post that

expects a JV to be announced with Lanxess within the next days
That would be fantastic, could negate the entire Hindenburg report, and could be the reason for green today, but it's been talked about for so long that I'm skeptical.

Mintak probably just saying that so he can pump the price then short it again. I heard he’s mad he can’t get across that Canadian bridge filled with redneck truckers.

If the proofs of concept we have seen reported are true, I don't think we have any thing to worry about. The location is too good and the promise of domestic lithium in such quantity that the stars align for a major success.
Conversely, if the tests and continued extraction are faked, someone will be fitted with an orange jump suit for fraud.

I saw mintak was posting on Twitter that the jv delay was due to him “literally not being able to get any sleep because the truckers literally won’t stop honking”

I have the same concerns Dock.
How much (if any) does anyone know of this Maydorn? Wouldn't think that'd be something Mintak would be discussing with an analyst..

Been watching this thread since inception. As a hog fan it was hard to see that some, repeat some, corndogs have intelligence.
Back to the subject I found this maydorn fella and translated his german to english. He did not speak to Mintak, however he did speak with Robinson and someone on the "operational board". Bottom line the hindenburg report was timed to drop with facebook news for max damage. Why does that matter? Because according to Maydorn SLI was about to announce income with Lanxess but that is now delayed cause you don't announce that with the short piece out there. Income with Lanxess I'm assuming is a JV? Also said that Koch and Lanxess are still behind Mintak and in fact that Koch wants multiple plants deployed elsewhere. Did not specify if those would be pilots for other brines or commercial.
So that's it. Nothing about a JV and Mintak although certainly some interesting news there. Couple that with the fact Lowry was in Arkansas today and my suspicion is that something is cooking.
I bought some calls today.

We had a really good day going until the market bit the dust. But we’re back to green in after hours, some unusual activity the past few days for sure.
