Smack, sound a lot like you’re ready to reduce down on SLI in a big way for a stretch. Could be reading it wrong, but you definitely seem to have gone somewhat bearish.

Correct. Just think things may drag out for awhile and with the potential for much higher taxes next year, want to secure my long term gains . I may be wrong but I think I can deploy my money elsewhere for a better more secure return. There’s been a lot of frickery with this stock since it went public. I still have a substantial holding and will add if the situation arises . But I can live with locking in a multimillion $ gain and still have plenty to enjoy the ride the rest of the way. There’s individual factors too. I secured enough for early retirement and then some. I took profit from all my holdings minus a few to reallocate in a less aggressive manner.

This was always my plan if things played out as hoped, I just thought we’d be in the $20’s when it happened. Part of it is how well my other stocks have done.

I’ll say this. Reading SLI’s response to the short seller had me understanding they seem to be a lot further off from actually showing significant revenue than we originally thought.

The market right now is craving risk and SLI is benefiting from it. The stock is pricing in a lot of future expected value from what’s in the ground. It could/should meet those expectations, but the longer that timeline gets dragged out the bigger the “what if’s” get. Just my opinion.

Can we get a list of other stocks?

Sad to hear you being less bullish haha

I have about 100k worth of SLI and was hoping it would be 250k

It’s a big portion of my current portfolio so this has me worried

Relatively less risky, worthy of a big position: ORGN, NVVE
"Medium" riskiness: BRPHF, BMAQW, CYDVF
Very high risk but 10x+ returns if they "hit": ASTS, HUMA, SABS,

Everyone's situation is different. Over the last few years, I feel like I learned to have a goal going in and the win is hitting that and not looking back.

I’m not familiar with the equipment needed for this particular unit, but if they have the technology, it’s going to be tough for someone else to beat them to market with a full blown production unit. Unless they just totally drag their feet.

What are the chances that this attack was also initiated by a competitor of SLI to try to get them to divulge their recovery?

idk but it looks like the shine is off this new penny. (SLI)
I will hang around until the conference call on the 30th and then decide what my next move will be.

I like a couple of those picks from Gen Lee.

Unless they tank the stock, spread misinformation to create enough doubt to force them to sell it or go bust.

Look at the companies blue orcha has gone after. SLI doesn’t seem to fit the bill.

I don't know how much faith you have in them, but the thing to remember with all stocks is that, by investing in them, you are gambling. Unless you work for them and have inside knowledge, you are placing a bet on them doing/delivering on what they say they will. No one here, even Smackover, knows for certain that they will be able to do that. All you can do is to take into consideration the information available to you and make the most informed decision possible for your own financial situation. There will always be risk...plan accordingly.

Management there sold TTI shares as well, wonder if they needed the SLI shares for liquidity. They do get another 500K SLI shares next year as part of the option agreement and they kept about 7% of their existing SLI shares. Certainly not a bullish sign though. But it was released Friday morning and SLI still went up that day.

General, how do you feel about SLI going forward? I’m moving some money out of SLI regardless, but I am curious if you’re of the same thinking as Smack. Are you less enthusiastic about this stock today over the next six months to a year?
