ETA: Plenty of people are going to be up $2/share at the opening bell. There will be some cashing out.
Its hovering around my original entry point right now, I wish I could have grabbed some 6s yesterday lol.

I agree, but also a lot of people sold yesterday waiting to get some clarity. I expect those people to buy back in today since the company responded.

True, but I don't think they buy back at the opening bell. Not with the pre-market numbers being what they are.

Yep who will win the quick $2 profit takers or the ones getting back in at possibly a lower entry point if they bought high before. I think there will be some fast sell off at the open so I may try and catch that dip if not ill get some more around my original entry point of 8.75.

I suspect this will dip as under $8 before rebounding. May take the better part of next week or two to get back hat was lost yesterday.

I’m copying this link from Reddit which has some further detailed explanation of yesterdays response. I couldn’t figure out how to copy and paste so I’m just going to drop the link.

Citation (Alfred Maydorn)
"All-clear from all sides. I was talking to Dr. Andy Robinson, the COO of Standard Lithium and with Tobias Tretter, the managing director of Commodity Capital AG and one of the largest investors in Standard Lithium. Andy Robinson explained that the large discrepancy between the recovery rates can be explained simply by the fact that only the amount of lithium chloride is reported to the AOGC that standard lithium actually stores on the production site. However, since the storage capacities are limited and the main aim is to prove the efficiency of the demonstration system over a longer period of time, most of the lithium chloride is pumped back again. Everything right on schedule It was also not (yet) legally permissible and never planned to use the demo system to produce and store larger quantities of lithium carbonate. Andy Robinson is extremely satisfied with the results of the system. It is running as planned and is able to produce 100 to 150 tons of lithium carbonate per year without any problems. Tobias Tretter sees the short attack by Blue Orca Capital as completely out of thin air and based on false assumptions. The low prices were even an interesting entry opportunity, he informed me."
Alfred Maydorn is a bit controversial, but I trust him in this one, particularly that he really talked to Tretter and Robinson.

This thread really has started getting largely insufferable.
That aside, cheers to everyone who held up yesterday. If you had any relatively significant holdings, stayed strong in August and again yesterday, you’re certified pressure tested.
I came out with a few more gray hairs, and about 15,000 more shares in my retirement account. I’m now averaged up to the mid $5’s, so it was gut check time when I bought low $7’s and we dipped back into the $6’s.

Blue Orca may be taken down by SLI , it will be a HUGE issue for them in long run, Blue may really be blue after this is all said and done.
Suggest Mintak add a ORCA whale to the sli caps, we gonna need a bigger boat!

Perhaps one lesson from the past few months and yesterday is that this stock (and frankly any one individual stock) is not appropriate to go "all in" on. Spread your bets out amongst multiple stocks. It's much easier to be "diamond handed" on an appropriately sized position instead of a massive one where you might have to sell in an event like yesterday to protect that high a chunk of your net worth. I personally start to feel antsy if any one stock gets to be more than 20% of my portfolio.

My suggestion is to lock up profits. It's never failed me and it alleviates stress while giving more versatility
