"buy the dip" crowd missed their shot?
I think it will come back down. I wouldn't be too surprised to see multiple days sub-10 dipping into 7-8 range. We live and die on news and I still think we don't hear anything on JV until January (just my own hunch).

I posted yesterday that was I was going to buy today, so no, not true.
Only reason I didn't buy yesterday is because 9.75 or whatever was not low enough for me, ill get it lower.
You really still think this stock is going to keep going up with seemingly nothing coming in the form of a catalyst? We fall 10% then go up 5% the next day and you claim victory?
This thread is getting a little outrageously unrealistic and as only like 18% of shares are institutionally owned, this worries me.
eta: I looked it up, currently only 12% of shares are institutional

Side topic, have y’all listened to the Joe Rogan podcast when he had Jewel on? I had no idea her family were original homesteaders to Alaska. She talked about her grandmother killing the family cat bc it ate their only cheese wheel so she cooked it in the cheese from its stomach and fed it to the family. Lol

The catalyst is the industry they operate in. The catalyst is the extraction process they use. The catalyst is the price potential (and realized) of the mineral they're extracting.

We fall 10% in a day and the stock is still up 30% on the month and you claim failure?

Not mad about up 9% on yesterdays purchase. When it drops I'll buy more. If news drops tomorrow - you missed an opp and I didn't.

I didn’t get a chance to follow the thread yesterday, but I’m up-to-date now. I will say I’m really surprised by some of the folks who say they’ve sold based on nothing, really. But everyone has to do what’s right for himself. I’m in for around 75K shares and I haven’t sold anything since I let go of a little in a Roth months back. Yesterday was rough, but if I stomached my way through the rough patch that was August, this certainly wasn’t scaring me off.
at any of you who sold the bottom…

Stock is up over 300% ytd and people start freaking out about a pullback. Maybe these type of speculative stocks aren’t right for some of you. This is a good consolidation range for the stock. Once more news is released, we will reach new highs. Lithium is a very high demand market with demand only increasing over the upcoming years.

I have more than enough sli, I wouldn't have missed out on shite. I'm long.
You guys are something. Yesterday the world is falling apart, today we are going back to the moon, but we are lower than we started yesterday.

Please show me where any of us where preparing for the SLI apocalypse yesterday (other than Grouch). Pretty sure sentiment in here was; "well this sucks right now, but it's still a great long term stock".
I believe people are getting shite on because they're selling on 10% dip days when no substantial news had broken. Thats a no-no in almost any situation.

You realize they aren't doing any of this on a actual production scale right? Right now we are waiting for some company to show confidence that there is potential here and actually put up actual real money to make it happen to full scale (JV). There is no reason to think this announcement is coming any day now outside of things posted by someone who lives in Arkansas in this thread. I'm thankful for that insight, dont get me wrong, but still the company itself, is doing nothing that would indicate it's impending imo.
The potential for what you are saying is why I hold; and they have such a lead on others trying to do the same extraction process, that the price action over last year is rewarding us for holding. They have the ability to demonstrate the technology although, as far as I know, we have gotten no actual numbers about what is actually being produced in their demonstration unit, I could be wrong on that?

No, I'm up like 200% on this stock; SLI has been a huge victory for me. I'm long, I dont care if it goes down or up on a weekly and daily basis. I'm just trying to inject some realism into the thread. My point was the RAPID whiplash from yesterday to today when all this shite was so predictable. This thread is so over-the-top optimistic and there seems to be a lot of people who have not traded stocks for an extremely long time, I feel the need to point out the risk. It can only help in the long run.

They need to jerk off at least twice a day or they’ll implode.
Implosions are ugly
