No doubt. It's a lot like dating my ex GF.

Amazing. Can I do this with fidelity? I have a brokerage account and a Roth IRA with SLI shares.

Brokerage account has to have 250K in it to be eligible I think. I have fully paid lending set up in my Roths, but it’s not available for HSA or self employed 401K’s.

I painted the close back to $7.77 before the after hours expired, some tool had painted it down to $7.52 before I fixed it.

Nice to see Elon moving Tesla headquarters to the Austin area. That’s much closer to his future lithium producer!

Ford battery plants to boost US supply chain
Ford’s recent announcement of plans to build lithium-ion battery factories in the southeastern U.S. set electric vehicle industry watchers into a flurry of speculation and prognostication.
While automakers around the world are racing to fill the increasing EV demand and the Biden Administration is pushing for faster electrification of the U.S. vehicle fleet, industry analysts are asking the multibillion-dollar question:
Where in the world (literally) will we find the raw materials needed to fulfill these ambitious plans?
As Ford begins to build its factories in Kentucky and Tennessee, I suggest the company look just to the west for a home-grown solution to its lithium supply problem.
Buried deep within the Smackover Formation of southern Arkansas sits what is likely the continent’s most concentrated lithium brine prospect. Estimated at 4 million tons LCE and averaging 325 ppm lithium, this prospect encompasses 100,000 acres that can be developed in a manner that is less intrusive to the environment than traditional lithium mining.
We all know that supply chain disruptions and the fear of relying on foreign nations for raw material supplies are major obstacles to the development of American’s EV industry. The Smackover prospect helps level the playing field and is only a stone’s throw from Ford’s proposed production facilities.
American lithium can power American EVs. American ingenuity and American materials must drive America’s EV future

Between this news and Tesla moving from Silicon Valley I’m slightly excited

I know. It was a joke based on his comment about a rise at the end of the day leading to big week next week. We seem to rise a lot at the close and it does not lead to follow through momentum. Maybe this time will be different.

So, is SLI ahead or behind the curve on commercialization? Seems other companies are signing contracts to supply lithium to battery manufacturers and we are still at the pilot plant phase.
Not griping. Whatever time it takes, it takes. Just hoping that SLI isn't the odd man out on the lithium musical chair game.

I post info and share, appreciate you asking, but your guess is as good as mine, AND hoping same as you, does seem everyone else is on FIRE and we are kinda smolderin...it is beyond my normal thinking for a company this size and ( such expectations)
We have seen lots of companies dottin i’s n crossing t’s, We all are in this and likes so many have said ,just some PR updates would mean a lot for morale as we get notification of multiple tweets from all other sources on lithium-companies

I am not sure there will be an odd man out currently. I don’t think people that are pushing everything to be EV are accurately considering how much lithium and infrastructure (charging stations, etc.) need to be advanced before that is possible.
