I appreciate your explanation, and yes I understood the basics of all of that.
Perhaps you assumed that I assumed that the folks of NC should consider SLI's approach rather than hard rock mining. I did not.
If you wanted to open a mine in my backyard, and argue that we needed the lithium to keep up with the world, I would love to argue that we will get all the lithium that we need from Arkansas. We don't need your mine.
Perhaps, what was fundamentally missed, was the argument against mining.

I sold my GNOG shares a month ago for a small loss and moved it to SLI. GNOG is up 50% today, but the SLI shares are well over 100% up since then.

No shite. It is very tempting from a price standpoint. But timing couldn't be worse. JV could be announced any time. Hell, PEA could and should be soon too.

Different company potentially in the Lithium extraction from brine sector. They are mostly operating in Argentina and partners with Lilac for the extraction technology.
Probaby an another 24 months timeline for them to be fully on the ground and producing high quality (over 99.5 % purity) Lithium which is battery grade, not industrial grade Lithium.
SLI and LLKKF/Lilac are the only two ecofriendly brine extraction companies that have apparently validated the ability to do this and this is significant since purity increases value for battery (or other industrial or pharmaceutical use).
They have more share dilution than SLI but have secured rights to big Lithium resources and a plausible eco-friendly story to tell given the projected global demand for Lithium over the next 10 years.
