Just an FYI. Miners are absolutely exploding the past 4 weeks or so. Should be good for this trade y'all are in.

Diving deeper on Standard Lithium?
I gotcha. I'm not sure about where Tetra got their brine from. But the main Standard Lithium project is to be onsite at Lanxess, using the Lanxess tail brine. The way I understood it, Tetra is more of "another possible source" to extract lithium from.
Tetra has brine wells on the site. They did not dismantle it as I had previously said. They have kept one person on site at all times. Tetra IS another source. They are doing electrical work there now. Lanxess is prepping to operate at 3 of their sites. I was mistaken when I said it was 3 sites including Tetra, but they will be operating the STHLF lithium extraction at all 3 sites (South plant, west plant and central plant) The Tetra site would be a fourth. Tetra and Lanxess are connected by railway and pipeline. Since Tetra didn't dismantle their sodium plant it seems as if Lanxess is going to take it over and save Tetra the costs of dismantling it and make use of the facility. I've been steadily increasing my position in LNXSF as well. It bottomed at around $28.00/share. I'm average in at about $42/share. They jumped from $64 to over $71 in the last week or so. Lanxess Germany also has 30 brine sites in Europe that could be potential lithium sources. No idea of lithium concentrations.

Well this may be the hold up on the final steps in processing. I wonder if SL can find someone in the US to do it?

Trudeau Defends Restricting US-Canada Border, Extends Regulations Into 2021
"The ban on non-essential travel between the U.S. and Canada is expected to go on into next year due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, U.S. News reported Tuesday."
They're in no rush. Lithium prices are down. STLHF will operate and get 100% of the profit for 12-24 months, and then the split with Lanxess will begin at 70/30 or 60/40. That will depend on variables not disclosed. If I were STLHF execs, I wouldn't be in a rush. A bump in lithium prices after COVID will greatly impact what they will make in the initial phase allowing them to accumulate shares. Their ownership has been diluted out to raise funds for experimental and demo plants. I think that's one reason they are hyping it more and keeping it on such a down low. Why try to drive up stock price before you have the money to buy a shite ton? I think they are releasing just enough to satisfy SEC requirements. After they acquire the shares they want, I can see future profits going into stock buy backs to consolidate the number of outstanding shares. I would love to see this before a dividend is paid out. Ultimately, I think a fat arse dividend will be paid out assuming all goes as planned.
I can say that Lanxess is VERY confident in the process and results. Another possible issue with the hold up on the SiFT module is that they are going to dismantle it and move it themselves. No piece will leave their sight. They want to eliminate any possible intellectual espionage. They way they have compartmentalized production is impressive. So basically only a handful of the top guys know how all the shite goes together. And they are constantly back and forth from Canada to south Ark. Just my opinion and reading between the lines.

Bought another 1000 shares today.

Thanks. That's exciting news. I think I'll hold my 10,000 shares forever.

What’s yalls price target in a year or two?
Posted on 12/4/20 at 9:34 am to CorkRockingham
I think $4-$5 is realistic for the next 18-24 months. But as the demand for lithium goes up and the U.S. creates more midstream manufacturing for Lithium Ion batteries it could be a $12-$15 stock in 4 to 5 years.
Honestly, I think the most likely option is that they get acquired and stockholders get paid $5-$7ish per share.

Should I be buying lanxess shares as well???
Can you or smack over hog give your opinion on why we should or should not buy lanxess stock. You guys have me worried that I have not covered all my bases.

My opinion is worthless, I just got in a few months ago. Definitely don't put me and Smack in the same sentence. Smack is the one with the real info. I am just thinking that Laxness and its byproduct is the main driver of Standard Lithium's viability. IT just makes sense (to me at least) that if STLHF ends up being as profitable as it seems like it will be that Laxness will acquire it. At least that's what I would be aiming to do if I was a decision maker. Let STLHF prove the concept and scale, work out the preliminary kinks/inefficiencies, then replicate.

Can anyone explain why the price did not move on the latest news.
That was a big deal.

This stock is under the radar. The significant run up about a month or so ago was on no news. Unless it was finally reacting to the virtual ribbon cutting from a month earlier.

I saw this posted on the yahoo board for this stock... any thoughts?
Short form Prospectus filed in SEDAR. The company is about to start a private placement of shares. The Short form Prospectus is the first step in the company next private placement. One of the other reports on SEDAR is the Marketing Materials for the private placement, in this form is shows a closing date to be around December 11th which is next Friday.
The company report filings do not say how many shares the company is seeking to sell, nor does it say at what price.
With this news and seeing that the stock price is coming down from a peak around $2.30. While also taking in into account the potential 8million warrants to buy shares at 1$ are still on the table and have not been executed. I see some short term decreases in stock price. But long term in the next 1 to 2 years I am still bullish

Stock placement in not dilution ( no additional shares ), typically won’t affect stock prices. At least from my experience.
Posted on 12/4/20 at 5:43 pm to AncientTiger
Private placement is a gamble. It means big money is getting in and depending on the terms could obviously imply something “good”. If you’ve got serious money hands getting involved in a company that’s almost never a bad thing.
With regards to the warrants, when can they be exercised? Haven’t looked that up yet. 8 million outstanding is rough if they can be exercised at the same time for a dollar. That’s gonna be a lot of selling. I assume they’ll negotiate extensions on some of those though (if they mature at the same time). Still a minor setback with regard to share price. It’s only like 8% so they aren’t in crippling debt to warrant holders or anything.

The stock seems to be plodding along nicely since September. Consistent upward momentum with occasional profit-taking along the way.
Volume seems a bit mysterious. Insiders loading up??

you cannot make assumptions on volume spikes on a penny stock with low float and very low liquidity. There’s not much of a market for this and thus any buying or selling activity spikes the line graph of shares traded per day
also with such a low share price typical trades are high number and low value. For example currently a $10000 position traded is 5000 shares on typical daily volume of 300,000 or so. And bigger trades may only happen a few times a week
also anyone who bought below $1 has already doubled their money.
if I had a large position at that price I’d be happy to sell right now

I wonder how much stock Is owned by people following this thread
Posted on 12/5/20 at 10:29 am to wickowick
our man on the ground in Arkansas has 100K plus shares I think.
if he were to put in a sell order and close his position it would very likely affect the share price on any normal volume day. It would be unlikely that there is a standing buy order for that number at the market price...
