Has anyone been using the five back gift cards? Looks lucrative.
5 off the five back card is currently available. I go through a shopping portal for 2.3% back, 3x purchase on my Citi Att, 5% off purchase of a card...then I'm going to use the physical gift card for purchases and gain an additional 5% back to gift card.

Should i wait till the new year to get the sapphire reserve? I'm thinking yes because of the af and travel credit.
Also, will Chase allow me to downgrade SP to Freedom or another card with no annual fee? I already have freedom unlimited, slate, hyatt, ihg, and ink cash

It should. Kiva, DraftKings, FanDuel etc counts. Don't see why this shouldn't.

Anybody having issues with Hyatt website? GP was supposed to be down through today but even when searching for paid reservations I get timed out instantly.
Also can't access CUR webpage from Chrome but works from Safari. Just trying to browse and book my damn hotel man.

If you travel for work then Citi Prestige is a must have. Other than that I'd stock up on SPG. Personal and Business.
Also highly recommend FlexPerks. Im loving the fixed value points these days. Merill+ is another.

I see next quarter for the freedom card is gas stations and local commuter transportation. Anyone know is this applies to Uber? In the description is says "Taxis, subways, and local busses and trains"

UA 75K if you can find it or Marriott 100K. That would translate to 33.3K SPG. Not bad. Or send 55K SPG the other way for 7 nights at Cat 5 and 120K SW (+ companion pass by extension).

Not sure if you can anymore tbh. 50K is available and may get a match to 60K on the back end. 75k was a limited time offer and is now targeted. So you could request that through SM.

If you take into consideration the other cards that you can't apply for to keep this opening, opportunity cost of holding off is pretty high
