Not in that situation, but the only answer in my opinion is B...but I get tons of time off all year long.

I already get a ton of vacation time and like my job, so:

I need a job or project going so I take option 2.
Edit....screw it....I'll retire

Assuming that you mean present standard of living, I'll take option 1. Extra money is not so great if you drop dead at your desk; time is priceless.

Yes, same as present. No right or wrong answer. Just personal preference.

Money is no good if I can't enjoy it. I'm not trying to give it ALL to my family.
Option A all day long.

I'd choose option 1. I'm very frugal and am able to live one hell of a lifestyle because of it.

I'm envious of the guys that have jobs that allow them to take a lot of time off and vacation.
I'm curious to know what line of work yall are in? I'm striving for a job with these perks.

Option A. Working sucks.
Although i doubt I ever stop working, I would just like to be able to have more free time.

option a! anyone who says option b either hates their family and life, or just greedy.

Definitely option 1 if i could keep my current standard of living which i happen to like
As long as i can continue to put gas in my boat and everything is paid off why not retire.

So I would get paid the same as if I'm working, but I wouldn't have to go to work? Is there supposed to be a catch?

If I don't like my current job and I have enough saved that choice a is available, then I'll go with choice c, find another job I actually do like even if it pays less.
