Agreed, I actually almost posted this exact same thread earlier today. 2 years ago, i bought a few shares at $90 per this board’s recommendation and now it’s over $157. I don’t know how long to hold it for at this point though.

It was just 10 shares with play-around money, so I don’t need it right now or anything. But I also don’t want to just let it sit in perpetuity and bleed away. Not sure what my goal should be

I wouldn't perseverate too much over $600.

I wish I had pulled the trigger on V over the years but never have.
For someone like you, just hold and buy any 10% dip. If it dips 15% buy more, 20% buy more.

For example, it got down to $120s in December. That was a buying opportunity. I should have entered there.

Got in at $72.70 and have to give credit to this board also. Been a good ride up.

I did as well. And maybe I haven't had enough coffee this morning, but I'm not sure I understand its usage in this context...

I subconsciously read it as "persevere" until seeing this comment. That's definitely a spelling bee / English major word. After looking it up, he seems to be saying "stop buying at $600."

Isn’t a stock like that one data breach from tanking?

I bought in before they split and stupidly sold it only to buy back in at around $100.00. It’s been my best stock since the buy.

I also bought it thanks to this board in 2014, specifically from Dabigfella, who had an epic post about reasons to buy Visa. I can’t remnebr the details of the post, but it alluded to how Visa, AMEX, and MasterCard are toll booths to society, only a fraction of the world is using plastic right now, and the developed world isn’t going back to using paper when you buy something.
