OK. I got August sold at 4.60 this morning, and bought back at 4.41. The entire natural gas trade has been a winner, but only because of futures.
It still burns my butt that on the UNG put portion of the trades I'll take a loss. There's no way out for me now. barring a miracle. And if the future's market dropping .16 doesn't do more than it did today, there will be no miracles.
Amateur mistakes. This is a great example of what not to do on puts. It's also an example of very poor due diligence on my part. I never anticipated pipeline capacity, and also never anticipated the irrational exuberance of the bulls on this.
The futures market would pull up spot prices at Henry Hub by a dime a day. Someone was making a ton of money.

Cash was down .17 on Friday to $4.38.

Won't happen. Futures are already below $4.50, and so is cash. NG is above $4 for the rest of the injection season barring a major miracle.

Hopefully light volume and lots of volatility this morning. Futures are trading up, but cased settled below $4.40 yesterday.

Hopefully I can dump $24 calls today to make up for $20 puts, then I'm out except DGAZ and futures.
