Asia and Europe up nicely today. This sure seems to be a US problem. Wonder why?

It's a problem if you have to sell. It's a problem if you can't buy.

It's not my problem.

Recessions, which this admin has freely admitted to being likely due to their long term economic strategies, cause spikes in job loss, slowdowns in economic activity, sheltering of free cash, and lower investments by businesses. It's a lot bigger than just your little investment account.

I guess your current gains aren't big enough to take taxes into consideration.

Yah, let me sell all of my AAPL at an avg cost of 7.29, take that massive tax hit, and panic rotate into some German surveillance company because we're gonna have a short term recession.

Boy, do I remember October 19th, 1987. Now that was a bloodbath. People killed themselves over that day.

I’m too lazy to research (kidding, may have look later)…Curious if anyone knows est top of mind.

What is total market value of each and the difference between:

20.47% Oct 1987

And

8.93% of Dec 2008

Market cap size of 2008 how much bigger than 1987?

Is there a particular reason/news that the markets opened red today?

Only Econ news that dropped today was that housing starts beat expectations and that Feb industrial production was up. (Though Jan was revised down)

I think a lot is profit taking from the 2 day rally as we await Powell's comments after the Fed meeting.

I don’t think anyone has suggested that. I definitely haven’t.

Thinking of moving mine to cash. I’m 5 years from early retirement.
