Not trying to be a smartass but, the answer is 100% dependent on what the earnings are in relation to traders expectations.

Yeah, I just got 5K at $126

I’ve read a ton about it today and almost everybody expects a very positive earnings report.

Hope you're right. I just remember the last 2 earnings reports that were very positive and the stock dropped afterwards.
FWI, I'm long NVDA via short puts in NVDL.

I am seeing articles almost every day that the market is down that it is CEO's reacting negatively to the thought of tariffs.

Tariff’s do negatively impact the market, anyone who thought we would see a steady green rise after talks of tariffs is either crazy or dumb.

Plus, inflation isn't going away anytime soon and short term interest rates are going to come down .

bump

It will take months to get back to where I was 3 weeks ago. I was caught tech-heavy and I disconnected from all things Internet for a few days when this began. Kept thinking surely tomorrow the rebound begins..

When I get back to near late-January levels, I may dump all of it and go all-in on crypto

If a certain someone would stop fricking with the economy things wouldn't be spiraling.

Or, if certain people would not have put us in this position, he would have to do this.

What certain people? Drugs have been an issue in this country since the 1950's and possibly before. The only thing to stop the flow of drugs is for Americans to stop buying them. Not some fricking stupid tariff on lumber that's only going to drive prices up more.

This is a result of Tariffs. The tariffs were imposed by Trump. Therefor it is Trumps fault. Not rocket science here.

You ever consider asking why Trump is enacting tariffs? Just curious, which you apparently are not.

I bought the dip yesterday. Topped up holdings on: small caps, S&P 500, SCHD and a little international which was also down.

May buy more today if the sale prices are still on today.

Stock prices will be fine despite this volatility and tariff fears. Taiwan semiconductors announced a 100 billion investment in a chip plant yesterday because of Trump’s tariffs. Apple has announced a 500 billion investment in America too recently.

America is the best place in the world to run a company

Are y'all really shitting yourselves over a 1.6% market drop?

Serious question.

It’s weird how being down 3-5% in a quarter became so untenable. I grew up with the stock market of 1996-2010. You could go years without having anything to get excited about. The early 2000s were excruciatingly boring. Total chop fest.

We weren’t losing 8% of our wealth per year to inflation back then either so there’s that.
