Gonna be ugly

WW3 could break out any day now, so spend some quality time with your Family at your local Cracker Barrel, and don't forget to visit the gift shop.

Anyone changing future contributions to money market or bonds in their 401/403 accounts? Or are we just DCA’ing still and let it be?

As an older coworker told me when I first started working, “when the shooting starts, buys guns, not butter”

As of right now, Israel with help of the collective west, defended against 100 plus ballistic and cruise missles, and 100 plus drones with minimal damage. As of now israel has not retaliated, and can actually not retaliate and save face since the attack was defended so well. However you want to spin it, west defense technology is too strong (lmt,gd,noc, rtx gonna print), or Iran intentionally went half arse; the risk seems lower today than Friday of a full blown ME war. I'm guessing markets will like this, maybe gold is even down. Israel has the power to change that today, but I'd guess they wont.

Unfortunately beyond speculative markets, my main thought is we spent probably 2 billion to defend against maybe a 100 million in drones and missles. The long term math here doesn't work for the west. The math in Ukraine is even worse. The "axis" would be dumb to actually start a direct kinetic war with West, it's really the only way they definitely lose at this point, either through an actual defeat or everyone on planet getting defeated. They should just keep playing long game. Let us keep electing officials which will alienate our own allies and spend 30 to 40% more than we take in. We have 2 candidates coming up which both are among the most elite presidents in history in creating debt. Let us fight about lbgtqxz, ev's, abortion and other meaningless long term things while they play long game, and keep proxy wars raging with unfavorable math scenarios for west, and wait until their power has parity with west.

All of this would be great for defense stocks. We basically have to keep investing exponentially more in defense technology and production to keep our lead. LMT is my second largest individual position

I'm at the point that I think they let Iran do this to save some face. Just like when Trump smoked those two commanders and let them lob a couple missiles

What is everyone’s go to defense contractor stock? LMT, RTX, NOC? It feels like this sector is going to continue to be imperative.

I own: LMT, NOC, GD . One of those 3 or RTX you can't go wrong. Futures are really tanking.
