I read your earlier post about the trade but it is a bit complex for my blood, good luck. The silver market has been very weird this week. The mints have lowered the price over spot and The big sellers on Ebay have done the same. This usually precedes a price drop but the price is rising. WTF Bought a few bars this morning so we will see.

The one options trade is designed to make money on a move either way without it being a neutral trade.

The ladder synthetic long is kind of like this also.

Rarely do exotic options trades make money unless you really know what you're doing, but the SLV trade really did seem like a no brainer to me, and it has time to move, so I did it.

This has been both predictable and easy. It's not always like this, so this is nice.

Selling $20 puts on SLW proved to be smart. I bought to close today for a couple of pennies.

On the SLV 18/19 synthetic long, I've bought to close almost all the puts I sold at profits, and am starting to sell to close the calls.

I'm leaving money on the table, but I laddered the trade all the way to 2016, and really don't want to have to manage it until then.

5 digit profit on these trades.

Ca ching.

Beautiful. I went long synthetic long GLD also.

Gold rang the cash register pretty big today, but I'm happy with SLV as well.

I figured after the CPI, no matter what Yellen did, it wouldn't matter. Also. it appeared to me both had made a double bottom from the chart reading perspective.

I just killed it in gold and silver today. SLV, GLD and future's contracts. Gold was a huge winner.

Nothing new in this article, except the technical indicators. It talks about buying low and selling high. A simple concept most people have an aversion to for some reason I cannot understand. I've accumulated the paper metal etfs leaps and miners all the way down. Once I go above 40% I'm going to dump. And do it again at some point. I think I'll continue to keep the physical stuff. Just what I do. Kinda boring really. except the results.

And the fear of stagflation. I think we started to see that when CPI rose to 2.1, and gdp growth slowed. Now please don't misunderstand, I don't think this is stagflation, but I have to assume the fear of it is out there based on how vix, vvix, gold and silver vix and pm's reacted.

Also, Rex called my office toady. I didn't take the call, but I guess he started screaming something about stupid gold hoarding republicans. I'm a pretty simple guy, if Rex say jump, I duck. If Rex says sell, I buy. I'd speculate Rex has never gone through an IRS audit before.

Everyone has a lesson to teach me if I am willing to learn. Rex is a giver, he is a teacher.

I wasn't aware of your presence on the Poli Board. I don't go there anymore.

I'm going to retire from there. The IRS thing has me so upset it really wrecked a couple of days for me this week.

Yeah, there's rumors up here in Iowa I'm somewhat active in politics.

I've thought about it but I think I'll stay away from it. If demand is decreasing in China and Europe which it seems to be doing, I'm not sure we're at or near the bottom yet.
