this thread: "I wish the price would go down so I could buy some more"
... the price goes down
this thread: "the sky is falling!"
its fine. when there is no fresh news this thing typically falls until the next catalyst. we're trending up though if you zoom out.

I never said anything like "the sky is falling". I only wondered if there was some news underlying today's decline.

In my opinion rhey should blow away the analyst estimates on revenue side. Key is how fast the SDOs are prescribing Vafseo since the 2 large doctor offices haven't really begun they Q2. . The 2 large DO are Davita And Fresenius. Would like an update on Davita and their rollout on a portion of their locations here in Q3.

Back to being down 7-10% pre-market. No idea why the big drop based on the earnings I've seen so far.

Sounds like investors tried to get ahead of an anticipated Bad earnings call. And then it crushed

I am tempted to add to my position today on this pullback even though I am neck deep in with over 100% gains already. I’ve been holding for a $5 spot.

Main reason for the drop is the disappointing revenues of Vafseo. Whoever had the opportunity to buy under 3 in pre market will be fine. Good news Aurixya had great numbers with no generic entry yet.
Vafseo - 4th and 5th largest will start protocols next month so q4 is looking good. Also one the 2 biggest DO - Davita will start pilot this quarter. The pilot alone will generate good revenues and hopefully full adoption sometime in q4.

Slow adoption of Vafseo but its coming. Some excerpts
DaVita physicians are expected to begin treating patients with Vafseo in August 2025 as part of an operational pilot at 100+ DaVita dialysis clinics.
Not including Davita
By the end of Q3, we expect dialysis organizations will have operationalized protocols enabling Vafseo prescribing access to more than 75,000 patients, an increase from about 40,000 patients at the end of Q2.
DaVita, a leading dialysis organization serving more than 200,000 patients, is expected to enable prescribing Vafseo to patients in an operational pilot this month. In July, DaVita placed an order to begin to supply the pilot across more than 100 clinics.

Don't forget the 4th and 5th largest offices.
We are working to increase utilization at mid-sized dialysis organizations, and we expect by September, both Dialysis Clinics, Inc. (DCI) and Innovative Renal Care (IRC), the fourth and fifth largest dialysis organizations, will have operationalized protocols to simplify and expand Vafseo prescribing.
I am disappointed that the uptake of Vafseo hasn't occurred as quickly I thought it would it is encouraging.
Q4 should be a great quarter.

keeps falling. So yall are buying more?

quote:I am not. Something is amiss here. I will refer again to the 700 MDs writing prescriptions. That is just miniscule for a drug that really has no competition in a very specific population. We have 35000 nephrologists in the country, I would imagine almost all of them have heard of the drug.

I did around 3.07 because I think those physician numbers increase in Q3-Q4 during these pilots with some of the "big" boys. This could be wishful thinking. I'd like to hit that $6-$7 range and bounce.
I think I only want to add 1 pharma stock in my next round of early "gambling."
