Wow. An LSU Star QB and a LA native QB who was turned down by LSU on the same NFL Team. One a Starter, the other a possible back up. Crazy. I'll drink to that.

Not turned down just offer late and at TE.

Is there a former LSU player Saints fans wouldn't love to have on their team? Hell if Xavier Carter could have still been playing football you people would want him on the Saints.

NO. He needs to play against the Aints and the great Sean Payton. Every young QB has a great game against the powerful retarDAT D. Marcus Marriota, Crab Legs Winston, RG3,etc, etc

Well he's an LSU player so we know the chances of that are zero

The saints signed an ex LSU QB last season when McCown got hurt.

I honestly wouldn't mind stashing him on the practice squad and giving him a shot next year.

You can't just stash anyone on the practice squad. Some of you have no idea how this works

and Craig Davis, but as to Hester, he was on their roster 4 years. That far exceeded most people's expectations of him coming out of college

Really? What exactly do you consider Phillip Rivers then?

Didn't you know Drew Breeze is like QB Jesus. Year or two behind him and Mett would be a Pro Bowler.

no shite. Not to mention the offense is coordinated by a guy who obviously likes something about you because he drafted you. If there was an ideal situation for Mett, it was this one.

In other words, an NFL starting QB who was offered a TE position by LSU, late. Like I said, a LA native QB turned down by LSU. Who by the way, showed up at our House and kicked our asss up and down the field. I am sure he gave ole Lesley a wink or two that game.
