We 100% have the pitchers to win today. Need to start getting the bats going.

I think Evans can give you 3 to maybe 5. Hopefully Cowan can give you 3-4 he gave us 3 last weekend after a short friday night pitching outing and that was the next day

I called it a stretch for a reason. It’s not impossible.

We need Ware to give us 3-4 or it will take another Herculean effort.

Cowan was a starter last year and has gone 3, 4, 4, 4.2, and 3. Evans has gone 3.2, 4, and 3.1. They can easily get 7+ IP from them.

Cowan pitched Friday. And this Tennessee lineup is good.

It’s a stretch.

He’s going to channel the ghost of Nate Ackenhausen and be the next juco transfer lefty to own the soul of Tennessee.

Just asking, why can’t he start if he threw 13 pitches on Friday?

We need to score runs before the 6th inning today.

I feel a lot better about our chances of doing so today against NOT Doyle or Phillips.

if ware gives you 2 then 3.2 and 3.1 aren’t herculean for the guys we’re asking to do it.

We may need 1 inning somewhere

but i agree we’re in really good shape if Ware gives us 3 good innings

Oklahoma and Miss St have scored more than Tennessee in conference play and Texas is about equal. Cowan threw 3 innings last week on Saturday after throwing on Friday. 13 pitches with a day of rest isn’t going to limit him that much. Even if they get only 3 from Cowan, Evans has shown he can give them 4.

Nope, I hinesoty think you should sandwich him between Cowan and Evans.

Start Cowan. That way you know early how much he can give you.

Then go to the lefty to change things up against the lineup

then go right again to close it out.
