There's a bit more to it than that. But you keep it simple so you can wrap your brain around it.

I like Matt Campbell and think he's a very good coach that will likely move on to a bigger job this year. But I wouldn't consider it fair to post his record minus his top assistant or minus Brock Purdy or something stupid like that.

Thank god for the head coach that was brave enough to go hire this 20 year old no-name and put him into position

Yeah it was just that 1 coach, it wasn’t all the other staff members including the DC, Dline coach and 37 players that included the record amount of drafted players and first rounders lol.

The dude literally said he wanted LSU to hire Cmapbell over Ed.

That means he wanted LSU to hire a coach that had 2 good seasons at Tulsa and had 1 year at Iowa State where he was 3-9.

Ed in his first 3 years has won the fiesta bowl, peach bowl, national title, hired joe brady, won coach of the year, produced the most first rounders in 1 draft ever, most ever draft picks in one draft ever, a heisman, blienikoff, Thorpe and joe Moore award winning team while landing top 5 classes consistently.

He’s either an actual moron or he made a dumb statement and now he’s willing to die on the hill.

Which games did you watch? Did you catch any of the 15 last year where Ed has the greatest season in college football history?

Or are you justifying your reasoning for wanting a 3-9 Iowa State head coach to get the job over Ed Orgeron? The same coach that lost to ULL by 2 possessions this year.

Or the game you referenced earlier where Joe Burrow lost to Troy? You sound super informed and logical.

One more time please tell me that you wanted Matt Campbell to get the LSU job over Ed Orgeron. I want you to type those words realizing that 2019 never happens without Ed Orgeron

What was Ed Orgeron's resume when LSU hired him? A few more inconvenient facts:

1. LSU has yet to play a ranked opponent this year. That's about to change in a hurry. It still has the worst pass defense in the country.

2. For the first time during his tenure at LSU, Ed Orgeron has a coaching staff entirely of his choosing.

3. LSU is about to have its first losing season since Dinardo.

You disagreed with facts you muppet. Look at the recruiting ratings... we are loaded with 4 and 5 star talent, you can disagree all you want but that just makes you a fricking idiot

And how many championships of any kind do either school have. Both fan bases are completely satisfied with 8-4 or 9-3 seasons year in & out. He would not be undefeated either.

Ok? This is an awful year but compare Ed Orgerons time since being LSU’s head coach with anyone else. His resume is stronger than everyone’s except Dabo and Saban.

We lost 37 player, have a true freshman at QB and we’re depleted. It’s been a shitty year but it’s not over and I’m not ready to give up on Ed.

This is retarded. Ed fired Cam Cameron the day he was named interm. He fired Peveto as soon as recruiting season has ended and has hired and fire everyone he’s wanted to.

Every staff has been his.

Potentially or maybe they don’t. We’ve been awful but who would you rather have right now, realistically, instead of Ed?

Your not getting Dabo, Saban, Day, Riley, Meyer, Kelly, Jimbo or Smart.

He’s proven he can build a winner and he’s bringing in shite loads of talent.

Relax. He’s saying internet stars aren’t a good way to judge these kids at this point. You can look at their NFL draft evals or projections as an accurate grading of them.

Or you can just watch the games.

Do you think it’s more relevant that Jacoby Stevens was a 5* Safety or the fact that the NFL will make him move to LBer and he’s like a round 4-7 guy?

Do you think it’s more relevant that Cylde was a 3* RB coming out of high school or that he was a first round NFL back?

Todd Harris and Damone Clark fall into your 4* talent pool.

Have you watched the games? How have the played to you?

He’s a good coach. However, he is completely unproven as a big-time recruiter and he drops games he shouldn’t every year, including this one. You can’t win big in the SEC on coaching alone.
