Now you've got it. Now you have to live with what happens next. Chances are the portal will be full of names before the new hire is announced. Commitments will likely reopen their recruiting and a total rebuild will result. See Tennessee.

You're dumb. Did it hurt from Miles to Oregon? No.

So you were happy with the trajectory of the program?

It needed to be done. Delaying the inevitable rarely produces better results.

Tennessee brought in a new coach and even with the transfers they’re playing better immediately. LSU also has much more talent than Tennessee.

Man these kids are pumped he's leaving. You think yesterday was about them playing to save O? I think the portal will help us more than it hurts us for next season.

Oh no. We are screwed. We fired the greatest coach in the history of sports.

You think that'll be worse than a .500 team?

Why Tennesee? Why not any other team who had a new coaching search and things went well?

Wasn't it mentioned that the players and staff didn't like playing/coaching for O?

If that's the case, wouldn't it stand to reason that they would welcome a new coach?

Regardless, anyone who thinks Coach O should remain head coach needs to be shot.

With CEO and Woodward reaching an agreement during the season, he can put a positive spin on it to recruits and continue to sell LSU.
