So the ship is "righted". That is a huge relief.

No it won’t. 57 million will get rid of your current coach. You then have to entice another coach to come to Baton Rouge and captain the ship. How do you entice him? ….. With a giant salary and a huge buyout clause.

Oh, and we haven’t even touched on the cost to buyout the old assistant coaches and attract new ones.

Add to that, you still have to figure out how to get your donors to pony up money for NIL after you just asked them for money to change coaches.

It’s a bit more complex than you expressed

The offense, at this point, cannot be fixed with this personnel and the offensive staff.

Untrue. You saw improvement last night, the turnovers in the red zone made it seem less so but it was there.

Compared to the end of the O era, yes.

We are a sloppy offensive team that is too inconsistent in all aspects. The play calling was improved but we still shoot ourselves in the foot too often. We cannot fumble at the 1 yd line when about to go up 2 scores. That was a 14 point swing. Instead of going up 10. We turn it over and give up a 72 yd td run. That is bad football.

Unfortunately that is who we are this year. Week 1 was one of the best managed games by our QB and we still shot ourselves in the foot. Fumbled the ball to give them a field goal and then after a bad review of a TD we miss the field goal. We just make life difficult by not playing winning football.

Hopefully that’ll change with improvement but I don’t think that will be the case.

I think Kelly was brought in because of all the off field problems we were having every year. Plus the product on the field was horrible. Has he done enough to keep his job , I would say no if his buyout wasn’t so high. My opinion.

So that's our comparator now. How things have collapsed.

Neither of these things are true.

Defense is good, offense is getting better but not great. This year, looks like 9-3, or 8-4.

Still a lot of “clean up” for being in week five. Bk also in my opinion is a bit of a prick in speaking appearances like post game press conference. It’s almost like he is on defense right from the jump and wants to be sarcastic and some cases down right disrespectful to those asking legit questions. He makes big boy money, those questions and his responses come with the gig.

Predict LSU stays at #11 this week. Oregon stays in top 10. Okies drop out, but Georgia Tech jumps into top 10.

A team that beat the mighty 2 win Hokies will jump 2 spots. Pretty doubtful

People like to gloss over that. He was damned near the perfect coach foe what LSU needed at the time.

This place is miserable. It overrates every single team on our schedule.
