You are some miserable people...

We'll, they call it the rant, so here's mine:

All you whiners, why is nothing ever right, and nothing ever good enough...?

So many of you equate a Cajun accent with stupidity. That couldn't be farther from the truth.

And how many of you have actually played the game?

"OMG, Ensminger is 59 years old. He's not relevant anymore." Give me experience any day.

"We'll never win anything ever again." While you've got that crystal ball warmed up, why don't you tell me what the stock market is going to do for the next 12 months so we can both get rich(er)...?

"We never throw to the tight ends."

"OMG, our new OC is a tight ends coach. Moreau will our leading receiver."

"We're going to boycott the games."

Who gives a shite? Give me 67,500 fans who are all into the game and don't leave early. I'll take that any day.

"My roommate's best friend's brother knows a third string lineman on the practice squad, and I know exactly what's going on inside the program."

No you don't.

"We'll never beat Saban again."
"We're going to get killed."

First, NO ONE is beating Saban consistently, and hasn't for a number of years. He is to college football what John Wooden was for BB, and what Lombardi was in the pros. He's once in a generation (or two).
Get over it.

Second, beyond the X's and O's, the work, and all the 5-stars, Saban's messsge to his teams is always consistent: eliminate clutter, execute, and show resilence in the face of adversity.

If we show those same characteristics, we can beat anyone with our talent. And if the people on this board decluttered a little and showed some resielence, we might be better off as a fan base.

I don't know what the results will be in 2018. But I do know that whatever it is, by 2020 it will all be forgotten by anyone not directly associated with the team.

There is so much agony on this board over things that cannot be controlled.

So please STOP THE WHINING and let things play out.
