Facts son, accept it. Woody did the right thing. Wade hung himself.

Basketball was by far the dirtiest sport in college basketball, not because the others weren't but because the number of quality players vs the number of scholarships made it spread to all levels of the sport and it was not the biggest cash cow for the major universities.
As a result, it was mostly ignored with the occasional small to mid-major hammer drop. The feigned outrage by certain fans and especially by former participants in the dirty mess that was college basketball going back to at least the late 70s was the hardest thing to take for me.
I know this is almost totally off-topic but it still kind of sticks in my craw. My opinion was and still is that Wade was sloppy. Not horribly sloppy but just enough to be a convenient distraction from the bigger fish that swam into the same net. Awful timing for LSU and Wade.

The sooner we forget about Wade the better. Gone and ain't coming back. Yearning for Saban to return would be more understandable. Wade was dirty at VCU, and he brought it to LSU. Let's focus on what we're going to do with Mac....

Woody protected LSU
Spared us from NCAA sanctions by giving the basketball program the death penalty.

Not gonna happen until we actually try to move the program forward instead of willfully staying stuck in the mud.

I have no disagreement.

was not the biggest cash cow for the major universities

You all can thank OBJ for the basketball McMess
I think Wade paying off former GF of a player to keep quiet was a bigger deal.

Blaming anyone else is just a distraction
Oh, so WW is blameless and just a bystander. Maybe WW wasn't the MBB coach and the evidence was planted. Boy, Woodward is sneaky.

I wish we still had Will Wade. We do not and will not. So I'm gonna try to move on. I recommend everyone else get it all out in the next few days and move on as well
I agree ,its time to move on, sick of the daily barrage of Wade / McMahon crap on this board.

Did he mention payments to players by Wade? Do you dispute he was caught on a wiretap mentioning "a strong arse offer"?
I disagree . I am not a shill for Wade , but this is not a NCAA violation . Coaches can say anything even on tap. Unless a player admits to receiving payments there is nothing to warrant sanctions. To this day that has not happened.

Unless I totally missed something, I think we will be replacing him in 1 year. Maybe 2.

Not really, it is at least as unreasonable.
