Do you know what this thread is talking about? This whole post is about how Arkansas actually beat us twice in games that Skenes started. Those are actual victories too.

Go look at the box score of both those games.
In the first game he pitched 7 innings and struck out 12 and gave 1 earned run. LSU lost in extra innings.
In the second game he pitched 3.2 innings and gave up 2 earned runs before Johnson pulled him.
It would be a stretch to say they came in and ‘rocked” him in either game.

And that’s not what he said, he simply said Skenes, the 1-1 in the MLB draft, started 2 games against Arkansas and LSU lost both, that’s it. It’s not taking a shot at LSU (despite what our insecure fanbase thinks) or a “moral” victory, it’s simply a fact

Yes I know what the guy said in the tweet the OP posted and yes those are actual victories by Arkansas not “moral” victories. Especially the first one since Arkansas was regular season co-SEC Champs with Florida 1/2 game ahead of LSU.

A) LSU won the regular season series 2-1 so it's not like LSU/Bama in football
B) LSU football has won 3 natties in 2 decades, 2nd most of any team in the sport in that span. Arkansas baseball has 0 in the history of mankind.

I brought that up because people are saying that he is using Arkansas winning those 2 games as a moral victory. LSU fans absolutely used the Alabama victory as a moral victory as well. You can think it's a dumb comparison, that's fine. My whole point is that fans of every team/school claim "moral victories". People in this thread are making it seem like his tweet was something crazy and it really wasn't at all.
