The best part of this is actually thinking a Big 12 defense will hold any power 5 school to 17 points

It's pretty sad to wish a medical emergency on another opponent.

DKR has a capacity over 100,000. This is a rare nighttime game for us against a top 10 opponent. It may in fact be a record crowd. It will be loud.

It should be a great game experience for the fans....

LSU fans know when they have a good football team...

What we saw last weekend shocked many of us...because haven't seen that offense before, we have never seen LSU play that clean this early in the season....

we always have a great D and a ton of talent and potential but usually struggle to tap into that potential on offense.

well, Burrow is tough as nails, apparently loves this new offense and has complete control of what he needs to do with the ball pre snap...

I'd say our running game is average....for LSU standards....

our special teams are also very good...

we have depth and team speed....

If LSU plays well, Texas is not going to win...LSU is just better...

I wouldn't type this if I didn't know my Tigers after all these decades of following them

That's bold. LSU has some advantages, but coaching isn't one of them. I believe you had blow out losses to Troy and Mississippi State under Orgeron.

Y’all lost to Maryland twice under Herman, including once to Matt Canada , the LSU OC for those two losses you cited.

See? Two can play that game.

My prediction for this game is as follows -

LSU - 17
Texas - 30

I love stupid predictions. Although I'll give you credit for not making the score all TD's like most idiots.

LSU will not, I repeat, not give up 30 points this Sat. We might lose, doubtful, but we won't give up 30.

Stingley is probably the best DB on the team RIGHT NOW. That includes fourth year Kristian Fulton a first round CB.

5. I believe that your new offense is fool's gold. Yes, it looked great this past Saturday. But at the end of the day, it was Georgia Southern. I doubt that after years of not being able to consistently move the ball and throw the ball downfield that your team is suddenly able to do so. If it happens Saturday night, fine, but I don't think it will. Our defense is more stout than you realize.

So you guys are running Strongs offense?

2. Tom Herman. He's one of the best offensive guys in the game. And yes, Herman is known for having his teams show up in a BIG way for games like this. Simply put, we will not be blown out. Not at home. Herman and Ehlinger are going to dial it up in a big way, and I think you're underestimating Herman's ability to gameplan and to motivate a team.

Please provide a decent example of this...

Lost to No. 13 West Virginia at home?

I just don't see a huge win at home against a top ranked opponent, so it's hard for you to make that claim...

Herman also lost to every ranked team he played at DKR in 2017. In 2018 he beat USC, TCU, and Iowa state who were ranked at the time, but finished the season not ranked in the top 25.

I gave you a thumbs up only for coming in here and putting forth your unpopular opinion. Ballsy.

Problem is your opinion is wrong. Confidence is good for the athletes on the field but any fan who is confident on a win (either side) based on limited body of work by both teams is delusional.

Stingley is a freshman and he will make mistakes. On the other hand, he has been practicing with the team since bowl season and during bowl season, coaches speculated he was the best corner on the team.

I think ehlinger needs to take his shots because playing scared will result in a texas loss. Having said that, he facing 2 sure fire NFL cornerbacks, 2-3 NFL safeties, 2-3 NFL linebackers, and 2-3 NFL linemen.

Its going to be a war.
