Bro it’s Baylor. In the days of NIL they have zero chance of winning anything of significance

Aranda is a career DC. There's nothing wrong with that. So is Venables at Oklahoma I believe.

As DC, absolutely.
When/if Baylor lets him ago, a big name school is going to pick him up and he’ll go back to being an elite DC.

I literally said that in this thread. I said bring him home if Baker gets a head coaching job. We agree on this. My point is he's not in BK's class as a head coach. Oh wait, he just went for it on 4th down again.

I mean….there was talk late in the 2019 season that LSU shouldn’t be the number 1 seed based on how badly the defense played. They got stops when they needed, but the defense was not good under Aranda.

Not to mention with the offense blowing the doors off of a lot of teams you're going to give up some yards and points with reserves playing late in games

And that defense turned it on whenever they had to. EVERY TIME. At the end of the season, at money time, they dominated Aggie, Georgia, Oklahoma and Clemson.
