Apparently this is a tradition of going out on this day, after workout are over.
As stated earlier. if this is true, then breaking that curfew means a little less to me.

Would you feel the same way if it were you who got stomped? I don't think so. None of the players should have been there, period. They MUST face the consequences for their actions. oh, please do fricking tell of your suffering......oh fricking puhleez.

and, btw, the coaches were fully aware of the curfew break....its a damn tradition.

Not sure if this has been discussed, but the following was posted on J. Doucet's facebook.

A new day. Police are meeting with the four LSU players and their attorney Nathan Fisher now. Police say they have obtained a video tape also. According to Advocate, Lsu not comfortable with Fisher working for free. Stay tuned for updates.

What does the "LSU not comforable with Fisher working for free" comment mean?

Then pay the dude.
The players are entitled to representation.
Maybe there are some guidelines that must be followed.

It means Doucet is a frickwad. AGAIN, Doucet, Nathan has been working pro bono for over 2 decades and the NCAA is fully aware of his services to the football program. Get a fricking life!

I really hope it turns out JJ wasn't involved. The guy has apparently been a good citizen.

But I also feel they shouldn't have been there in the first place- and that goes for ALL OF THEM.

They themselves are the main reason why they are not having to deal with all this.

My opinion.

EDIT: Christ- now the Atty. Fisher is saying it all sunk in on them this morning, and all four of them cried.

It means LSU doesn't want the NCAA poking around the situation and would rather handle everything in house. It would be a violation of LSU to pay Fisher and you've got to believe that the NCAA is at least going to make an inquiry of this.

In fact it may make it worse as they would have ambushed the victims outside, showing intent to cause injury as opposed to a dumb knee-jerk reaction to a honked horn.

It might also show the guy managed to get into one altercation inside and did so again outside. I do not believe the players would pull the guy out of his car just for honking at them while trying to get by. If so, how come nothing like this has happened before. Players have been congregating outside at some point since 1990 and I'm sure this group does it everytime they go out. That's 3+ years with the JL/JJ era without an incident like this one (dragging someone out of their car).

I agree with you in but they are also human and will F--k up at some point. It's not like this is going on every week.

We expect way too much out of 18-22yr olds

First Comment:
I agree that this hasn't been happening every week...but if this did happen the way the initial reports went, then it WILL happen more often. Must be consequences for wrongful actions...whether it is chronic or not!

The 2nd comment:
This is the main problem with today's society. I think we expect too little from them...Jeez...22 is freaking GROWN!!! Grow up and be a d@mn man!!!
Unless that was sarcasm, and then, well....good.

Well how can we discredit the fb players?
You don't have to. They haven't said anything yet. That's what makes the football knights so amazing. Discredit the only stories you have read and then come up with alternatives on your own.

Verbatim:

"Atty Nathan Fisher says all four LSU players cried this morning after realizing they are now in a different unflattering spotlight"

.....And he is also now saying that he "doesn't think there will be any" charges filed. His words- I guess we will see.
