Book was top 10 heisman voting btw. I’m not even shitting on etling here, but book was a great college QB and would have started over etling 100% of the time if they were competing

Would you agree that Daniels has better talent and better coaching around him now to maximize his potential?

Yes, I’m just not on the edge of my seat excited about the dude, I hope he proves me completely wrong.

Not so sure on this one.

When you think about it it’s almost miraculous how much Danny succeeded when he went from Cameron/Miles to interim Ensminger to watered-down Canada over two seasons.

Based on seeing them each in real systems in the pros I think Etling would have an argument with equal coaching.

Why are people downvoting Would you rather not support the LSU starting QB?

Haven’t you figured it out by now? As far as LSU fans go 9/10 times the second string QB is the best option.

I have zero sources but I just get the feeling Kelly and Denbrock went in with a preconceived notion of “their quarterback” and didn’t give him a fair shake.

It’s useless to question anything Kelly does right now because the hive mind is so thrilled that he’s the first coach in over a decade to speak coherent English.

It’s almost like Kelly has been doing this with a fair bit of success for quite some time.

Has etling even seen the field in a real game?

That’s the key. I think we’ve seen his ceiling.

I was Team Aranda from the start and I still think that was the hire. If the doomsday scenario of him replacing Saban happens I might boil my dick in Aramark nacho cheese.

Myles is slow. Can’t make plays with his legs. In the SEC and especially with our suspect o-line that is a must for our QB.

Because Daniels isn’t better than Myles as a QUARTERBACK. He’s an athlete the coaches are enamored with despite his lack of fundamentals.

Myles was here damn near a DECADE and couldnt prove he was a better qb than anyone that he competed against for the starting qb spot.

Did you say the same thing about Burrow circa 2018 ?

No, Burrow did not have this much bad film at the D1 level.

Really looking forward to seeing Daniels in the P&G cutting upfield and making plays

This might be the most exciting season we’ve had since 19

I'm all about choosing a favorite and arguing it to the death. And I can see where people wouldve felt this way about Brennan.

But between Nuss and JD, there is no logical basis, from a fan perspective, to choose one over the other. We know almost nothing of substance.
