yeah this year is a trash year because of the INSANELY OUTLIER wiretap bullshite last year. WW was toxic and couldn't recruit at his expected level. look at our current recruiting class to see what he can do when he's unchained. a couple years in a row of THAT and we're elite

1 player, Brandon Sampson played in the NBA on a 10 day deal for a short time, that’s it. He wasn’t even a full time starter for Wade’s first team either.

He’s never actually played the game which I do think plays a factor in some of the in game decisions he makes.
I also think he’s a very good head coach and hope he has continued success at LSU.

Some of you people are intolerable. Let me ask you a question. And this goes for all of you who have strong opinions about the basketball team. Do you keep up with college basketball as a whole or just LSU basketball? I am just curious because I want to know if your opinions are based on.
Now, my next question. What were your expectations for this year's team? Personally, I did not expect them to as good or better than last year. My expectations coming into the season was for them to make the NCAA tournament.
Think about LSU basketball before Will Wade. We had a team with Ben Simmons who was surrounded by decent talent.. I think Quarterman went on to play pro overseas. I can't think of the whole team off the top of my head, but you give Will Wade that team he would be in the running to win the SEC.
Next year.. With what we have coming in + the experience this team will have, I look for us to have a better season, but giving the team we have what more can you ask for?
Auburn lost at home last night to Texas A&M. This is the time of year when teams that started off not that good get better.. Teams are playing harder to try to have a shot to make the tournament. Arkansas was a 3 point favorite last night. They won by 9. I kind of like how we came back to actually make it a game. Having the ability to come back might benefit us in tournament play.
As a sports fan.. And a life long LSU fan, it really is hard to come here and have a normal discussion.

To add to this- LSU was projected to finish 3rd in the SEC by the media and will finish anywhere from 2nd to 4th depending on the last game.

In the SEC the last few days:
Kentucky lost at home to Tennessee.
Alabama lost at home to VANDY.
Florida lost at Tennessee.
Nationally:
Maryland lost at Rutgers.
Baylor lost at TCU
Villanova lost at home to Providence.
Iowa lost at home to Purdue.
These are all above average to very good teams losing games to worse teams. It happens.

Goddamn some of you people are dumb. Dude's been here for less than 3 years and he's the Les Miles of basketball? He took a dogshit program to the Sweet 16 last year and he couldn't even coach them on the floor. That was after they won the regular season SEC Title and he was kneecapped by his AD. fricking imbeciles on here. He's got 3 more seasons at minimum before he can be compared to Miles and he's got to show a track record of failing to adapt.

He is not a game coach and he should just admit it. College basketball is about recruiting and he is good at that. It's time to admit assistants are calling the game.
Watch Wade during the game when you are at the PMAC. He rarely even goes into the team huddles.
I don't care that he is not doing the game coaching. I just wish he would hire someone that could. He needs to concentrate on what he does best and get some assistants to coach the games.
