But just doesnt have the in game coaching skills needed to get the most out of his talent.

Will Wade would NOT be chosen in the top 20 coaches if the question was "who are the better in game, fundamental coaches in college today?"

It sucks that so many here think he invented the wheel. He diesnt get effort out of his team and doesnt have control. 2 things that should be there regardless of the talent level.

Whoa calm down, he basically just got here. This team would be entirely different if all that strong arse offer BS didn’t happen last year

You can coach Smart and Watford until the cows come, but they have both been doing the same stupid shite all season. So is it the Coach are two really thick clowns who are uncoachable?

I agree...but effort and discipline are not exclusive to 5 stars.

No reason this team should still be at this level.
It simply seems he doesnt have the IT factor of coaching

Cant explain it completely, but the bad feelings associated with him tell the story.

Would a strong in game coach win the SEC and make the Sweet 16 with zero NBA first rounders on the roster? Seems like something a good coach would do

Nah man, Les isn’t a program builder. WW is building this from the ground up. Chill.

You liked Les?

How can you like someone that was that intellectually challenged?

You can always tell the posters who just started watching LSU basketball last season. The ignorance in your post is astonishing.

Would a strong in game coach have the most efficient offense in the SEC? Would a good in game coach be able to erase huge deficits regularly? Would a good in game coach almost never lose games by wide margins and practically never be blown out? Would a good in game coach’s team perform extremely well in the final 5 minutes of games? But even though Wade checks all these boxes the OP has “bad feelings” about him so all bets are off lol.

Keep going. Don’t quit. Get in the tourney.

And watch out for next year.

Yes, Les was also a great tactician like WW. That’s why we let him go, because his schemes were TOO good.

Lol, no he does not get a pass for this, it falls on him just like it would ON CPM CLM or O. There is not a coach in the country who gets a pass bc his players are uncoachable, that is a reflection of the coach.

I'm sure this was meant to somehow insult Wade, but let's see-

you're comparing him to a coach with a natty and another title game appearance, who has the best overall W-L record in his school's history. Who maintained the program in the Top 10 for half his seasons here, and who always made the postseason.

So, hell yeah I want Wade to be Les Miles. That would be a huge upgrade.

I don’t find him likeable at all.
He’s only “likeable” because he has had a modicum of success at a place with recent failure and because he gets fired up.

Really? Wade took what Johnny Jones left him and won the SEC?
Its obvious to anyone who knows basketball that there are big deficits on this roster. No Bigs, and PG deficits. He has been forced to coach around those deficits and has kept us competitive.
Lets see if Wade's recruiting can fill the holes prior to next season.
I believe he will.
