WVU accuses LSU of faking injuries

The West Virginia offense abused what was supposed to be one of the best defenses in the country last weekend when LSU visited Morgantown.

But seriously, do yall really think this?

Let's see, we punted to them 6 times, all inside their own 15, we kicked off to them 8 times - that's 14 possessions starting at their own 20 or closer.
Yet, they only got in LSU's red zone 3 times, one on a 70 yard pass play, and scored 21 points.
What abuse....

58.5 completion percentage and should have had 5 ints. Tell that scrub he and the rest of your team can't handle the SEC elite.

How does it feel to get arse raped in your own home by 26 points in front of the whole country? Even if they were faking, is that your sorry arse excuse for getting killed? If it's a problem, learn how to beat a team without running a gimmick offense.

fixed it for you

you guys probably think full-court presses in basketball are unfair too

Here's what you couch burners will never understand .In a standard pace offense if a defensive player has a minor injury( lets say a hammy cramps up and he can't run) when the offense huddles the player can limp off and the defense can substitute. If you are playing hurry up his only option is to lay on the field until the clock is stopped and his sub can come in.Same injury and in both cases he probably comes back in the next play. But because you are playing hurry up you call it faked !

Anytime a team must travel 200yds for a TD...thats a win for the defense. Period. Chavis' gameplan worked perfectly.

Yay, WVU lost a big game against a big-timegood opponent much like Texas Tech used to do it. Piling up the yards through a short passing game, never running the ball, and not stopping the opponent from scoring enough. They would have won the game if it weren't for that pesky #90 being hurt that one time. Did Tech ever make excuses like that for their losses?

WVU lost because it plays a BS brand of football that doesn't win against good football teams. That's it.

The article reads like an admission on the part of West Virginia that their offense can't be effective when played "straight up" against our defense. I take that as a compliment. They admit that the o ky way to be productive is to catch us before we can line up or otherwise adjust. Their "tempo " is nothing more than gamesmanship--likewise so is "faking" an injury or laying on the pile in order to slow down the tempo.

I guess the only way to legitimately beat a team with a hurry-up offense is to never have any defensive players get injured, a common occurrence.

Otherwise, the only reason you won is because you were faking injuries.

I mean, damn, if that's the excuse in a 26-point loss, I couldn't imagine what would be being said if LSU won by 10.

That's a reflection of the classless POS that is Dana Holgerson. Brockers went down twice and was held out of practice for a few days. They also boo'd our own offensive guys when they got hurt and our special teams player who was knocked out. Frankly, they can grab onto whatever fantasy they want. They got pounded in the game and lost by four touchdowns.

Yall are so gullable....

He's talking about the fans that faked injuries and got sent to the hospital.

I told you this fanbase was full losers; that are overzealous in reaching for respect.
