WR Draft Class - Thomas Jr

I’ve been reading some of the predictions and several of these have him around 14th best in this class. Trying to take off my P&G glasses, and admittedly a Thomas fan, I just can’t see him that far down.
For example, I believe both him and Ricky Pearsal (Pearsal has zero help and has almost 1000 yards) are going to go higher than predicted. Some are saying that Daniels and Nabers are the reason why Thomas is that good. This sounds awfully like Jefferson and Chase.
What say you on tRant? Does he go in the top 10 WR?
The combine with make and break a lot of these guys and I believe Thomas will win best standing leap and broad jump. He will also run a 4.4 40. He covers a lot of ground with his strides and is strong.

I’d love for him to be convinced to stay

I don't know if his tape is polished enough to be a top 5 guy but his measurables will certainly help put him in that discussion

He’s a top 20 pick, probably 4th WR off the board

Yes, easily. Could go anywhere between WR4-WR8.

That’s pretty lofty considering teams draft for need and there are so many QBs in the draft as well as good WRs that will be available later

The question holding him back would be if he's a WR1 in the NFL.

I don't think there is anyway he will come back but if you think about him on this team next year, he would have the opportunity to shine. If Nuss is the qb and Thomas as a #1 receiver, man that could be an awesome combination. Hard to believe he would have a better year than he had this year though.

Sure, but he’s got the same measurables as Harrison Jr. Plus the pedigree of being a top ranked HS player and the production.
Thomas is an easy first rounder

WTF? His tape leads the league in TDs.

Get him a $25 million NIL deal. He is going to be a 15-25 first rd pick. He will do well at the combine and with his size won’t be on the board long. He ain’t coming back. I think he is going to blow up in the league.

Not to hijack this thread but I think BTJ will have a solid NFL career. The one I’m most interested in is Diggs. The blitz pickups he’s made is something that NFL teams look for and he has some burst and wiggle that can keep him around in the NFL for some time

I saw a mock today that had Thomas in the late first round. Someone at Yahoo, I think.

He’s big and can run by people, plus he blocks and is pretty good after the catch.
And his route running appears to be getting better.
Selfishly, I hope he comes back to improve his draft stock, but realistically, he might go in the end of Round 1 after this season.

These drafts are all over the place. Several don’t have Daniels in the first round much less Thomas.

Alot of new mock drafts have him going in the 1st round.

I'm definitely not a scout but the growth in BTJ from his freshman year to now is obvious. 13 TDs? He's the real deal and whoever gets him will be getting a great player that is still learning. His best is yet to come.
