At this point slight lean to Riley. He is younger and possibly less stubborn.

Getting worried Kelly is another one of those that will insist he is right and do it his same way despite no titles.

Kelly

Believe it or not, this is Kelly's worse defense for namy many years.

This is a typical Riley defense

Kelly, no question. Riley is what he is, flashy offensive guru who is great at developing QBs. He has never had a good defense (63-28 ring any bells) and doesn't ever try to have a good defense.

Kelly has won everywhere he has been. We don't have the roster yet...but Kelly will get it there. Give him time.

Kelly, no doubt.

He kept Alex Grinch for 5 seasons even though he had an easy out of not bringing him to USC.

I would go with Kelly.

Practical reasons- Kelly is experienced and mature, has built several programs, and has a good idea what he wants his program to do to get where he needs it to be.
We're about to do conference realignment, and I want a mature guy who will be able to keep LSU relevant as we add 2 more power teams to the SEC.

I don't think Riley is that guy. I think he's all about flash and glamour, and wants the NFL desperately. If he had success he'd leave us high and dry.
